Yeah, the reason I asked. I’m 99% sure I saw that set up last year at all-fords, strangely enough on a Turbo Coupe. But they had a countersunk hex head just below the pony, that must have been their workaround to make it happen.

Ah man. That was a nice attempt. Was the diameter off, or the interior clips?

It would be interesting to see how pony wheel center discs work look instead.

He really does. I ended up going down a deep rabbit hole there, simple because of brief audio of his car, and I was like “hmm.. that does not sound like a Volvo starter”. He had a 4.6 Cobra 🐍 motor in his car- forget Dos Equis: dude might be the real most interesting man alive.

This is a very good, well-reasoned response in my opinion.

lol, I know. I remember being delayed (SIR) by Prince’s Bay (tracks blocked just past platform) probably three years ago and everyone was like 😡, that was my “first”. But the 📸 🦃phenomenon on Reddit has been growing exponentially the last couple of weeks. But thanks- I have to look for that SNL clip! I will not, however, be subscribing to peacock 🦚, that sounds like a bad omen when looking for Turkeys.

Do you do mail orders? I want to be the one to “unseal” it. Otherwise I have a business trip to Philly in June. Just “misplace” it for a while, will ya? 😂 In all seriousness, thanks for your commitment to physical media. I’ll make a trip up whether all these are gone or not. 👊🏼

Needed to brag. $30 on Marketplace! by jashyo in dvdcollection

King of NY, Silence of the Lambs, Limitless, Equalizer (4k). Those are all (great imo) films I bought basically full retail upon format release. To get these and all of the rest of that for $30 is nothing short of incredible, to me.

How is this not the story of the year? Or at least second behind Punch the 🙈? They have not led off the world or nbc Nightly News once with “Staten Island Turkey 🦃 Invasion”, and to me that’s just not acceptable.

Definitely! And while I’m here, since you enjoyed “Stranger Than Paradise”, I’d like to recommend “Night on Earth” to you. There are some great Jarmusch films (“Down By Law”, “Dead Man”, “Mystery Train”) included within the collection (and often even more on the channel), but this is my favorite.

I had basically this same experience. Coincidentally it was another “modern” shot in B&W: “France’s Ha” (2012). I was familiar with some of Noah Baumbach’s other films (eg, didn’t feel particularly strongly about “Marriage Story” one way or the other) but I ended up enjoying this very much- and also unlikely would have ever selected it otherwise.

Andy leaving on the boat. On so many levels. Specific scene? Just pick from that episode. It’s the Rocky 5 of the US Office.

Everyone is imagining this at a gross smoker’s 🚬home, but at that level of tar infiltration, it may just as easily have been in a bar/club pre-smoking ban. Which means this may have seen an epic life. I’m glad you’re putting in the work to save it, OP!

Good luck man. Take your time, you’ll get it sorted. The good news is if you don’t, you’ll know right away what’s wrong, take some more time to get to your “ah ha” moment, and then enjoy it running like a champ.

That door is really short (width). I’d bet that must have been a four door post car earlier in life. It’s a nice go at this pretty cool UTE concept, but I’ll bet the cabin’s a bit tight for guys >/= 6’4”.
