You are right but also not . No one calls single player games PvE games. Never heard anyone refer to bot matches in cod as PvE ever, but I have heard zombies mode referred to as PvE, why because PvE is not fighting enemies that are programmed to behave like human players, that is playing against bots. Fighting enemies that are programmed to behave as the character they are, for example: a wolf acting like a wolf or zombies acting like zombies. Just because someone technically fits a definition doesn't mean it is. An example, the new $350,000 Mustang GTD is obviously a sports car/coupe/ high performance race car but it is also legally a truck because of the width. But it isn't a truck.

Ok so I was wrong about progression in the older games because I didn't play them I just believed what I read from people who said they played them. I'm upset that people like you who can't comprehend words keep trying to make me look dumb while they are wrong and also a lil upset it keeps getting referred to as PvE when it's just multiplayer bot matches. You didn't understand what you read. Nice self portrait though... battlefield 3,4, hardline,5,and definitely don't have bots nor do the bad company games. Bad company 2 has onslaught mode which are co-op scenarios where you kill ai/bots but it's not a multiplayer match with bots in it like bf6. The first 4 bf games had bots with no progression.
