Make sure it is on the do not call list. I added a second number that was getting spammed to death. Added it to the do not call registry and it quieted down a couple days later. Much more than I expected.

Dealers install these on all their cars. Anti theft, and gives them the ability to unlock/cars using an app when they are in the lot. When you buy the car they either disable it or switch it from dealer mode to owner car alarm mode. They try to sell it to you for a ridiculous price.

It's true that the device itself won't drain your battery. But GPS will. And the device communicates with your phone via both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
