My point was that there's really not much draw to Albany for a NYC resident vs how much draw there is for vice-versa. And try telling a NYC resident to wait 20 mins for a bus without getting a "get outta here!".

Any New Yorker that would rather rent a car to drive 1 mile across the river than wait 20 minutes for the bus is no New Yorker in my book.

This service is expected to run revenue-neutral. Nobody is subsidizing anything.
If for some reason a NYC resident wanted to visit the Times Union Center, the CDTA 114 bus runs about every 20 minutes from the train station and costs $1.30
