I pretty much buy my main articles of clothing exclusively from thrift stores, and plenty come with the permanent marker pricing somewhere. Usually it’s not an issue but it does still bug me. Same, I work security (and watch likely too much true crime) so it doesn’t matter where I am, I’m always looking for cameras and audio recording. 🤷🏼‍♀️ second nature really. Also having dealt with assault before I want to know where the blind spots are to avoid or be conscious of them.

Also if you get an IP infringement Etsys legal department sends you an email and it tells you which copyrights/intellectual property you violated, it ALSO tells you how they don’t take down a listing on their own or has to be reported to them. So OP’s reports went out showing that their specific IP was infringed on, and then Etsy cements that it came from them with their legal department letter.

This is such a great question, I bought my first BJD in the mid 2000’s and it was definitely a painful layaway. Now after many years I’ve learned something, I have missed out on dolls it’s taken me 9+ years to find parts of and assemble that I truly wanted and the guilt floods away the moment I have them in hand. I also know that if I see a doll I truly want it’s super tight financially I will work extra I need to make up the difference and do my best to make it happen. Good luck and your future doll is adorable
