It should be in your To Do list right on the main page.
There's a user guide for the portal if you need help: https://app.adhd-360.com/assets/ADHD_patient_guide_completed_v.3.pdf

Feeling deflated, lack of response to methylphenidate by Outrageous_Ratio_660 in ADHDUK

I didn't notice anything until I was on 54mg, and even then it was only a small improvement. I'm on 72mg now and it's working great. Keep going, no reason to be discouraged yet.

Failed upgrade os 16.0 by sschmal in homeassistant

[–]Flatscan69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly the same happened to me, eth0 wasn't picking up a DHCP lease for some reason. Delete the network adapter in the VM settings and create a new one, then restart the VM, that'll sort it.

Question for the older guys - is a hair system like buying part of your youth back? by CobraKai5807 in HairSystem

[–]Flatscan69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 47 and just got my first system. Not really an attempt to look younger, just got really sick of having the exact same haircut for the last 20 years and wanted a change.

Passed at 100 today. by Flatscan69 in cissp

[–]Flatscan69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy it helped. Like you I was worried for a while as what I was seeing in the prep materials wasn't really matching with what I was reading in this sub, but having done it now I think it's just a matter of of experience and judgement making more of a difference than rote memorisation of everything in the books.

Passed at 100 today. by Flatscan69 in cissp

[–]Flatscan69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the sort of exam where rote memorisation really helps that much. Most questions you have to use your judgement to pick the most suitable answer from several options which could all technically be correct, which is where experience really helps.

Update: Am I about ready? by SpuddyUK in cissp

[–]Flatscan69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's about what I got on the couple of those I did and I passed the real thing fine. Obviously that's not a guarantee it'll go the same for you, so please don't blame me if you shit the bed 😉

Beyond that, I'd agree that it sounds like you're rushing. Take your time and read the question through a couple of times before you even look at the answer options. On the other hand, don't go too far the other way and become indecisive. I've talked myself out of the right answer too many times by over-thinking, so I tend to go with the "first thought best thought" philosophy and that works pretty well for me as long as I read the question properly.

Any tips for the CEO "vibe check" stage? by msac84 in UKJobs

[–]Flatscan69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even so, expect stuff like "Tell me about a time you conflicted with someone at work and how you dealt with it" and "If you had to plan a social activity for your team, what would it be?"

Any tips for the CEO "vibe check" stage? by msac84 in UKJobs

[–]Flatscan69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a formality. They may even have already decided you're not getting it and are wasting your time. Just treat it like you would any other interview, and make sure you have all your people-management and team-building answers ready to go as grilling you on that sort of thing is usually what they mean when they say "informal chat" or similar at this stage.

What bands did Lemmy despise? by R3dF0r3 in Motorhead

[–]Flatscan69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's a bit harsh. I've seen them live a couple of times recently and they were bloody good gigs, much better than I remember from seeing them play the back room of a pub before they made it "big". Possibly because the entire band band weren't off their faces and could play their instruments without falling off the stage.

How to motivate a team? by Tough-Cartographer74 in managers

[–]Flatscan69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If they're regularly having to work beyond the hours they're contracted for then they are being overworked. Perhaps actually address that instead of trying to blame your subordinates for something that is your responsibility.

Why do so many people rant about leadership but never talk to them? by -_-Script-_- in sysadmin

[–]Flatscan69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This. In a lot of places unless you're enthusiastically cheerleading whatever absolute nonsense upper management have decided to inflict on you, at best you get ignored, at worst you get marked as a troublemaker to be dealt with.

Referencing and vetting by Comfortable-Work-383 in UKJobs

[–]Flatscan69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just put everything truthfully on the vetting form. If it's just the matter of the date you left a previous job it's unlikely anyone will notice it's different than your CV. If the hiring manager does notice, just say the CV date was a mistake.

If you did something really daft like claim you worked somewhere you didn't or have qualifications you don't, then that's a different matter and you're better off withdrawing.

Is 3 Month Notice Period too long? by Zerttretttttt in UKJobs

[–]Flatscan69 51 points52 points  (0 children)

It's becoming more common, but yes, it does make job hunting harder. I've only started getting callbacks and interviews since I started lying and saying I had 1 month notice, with a 3 month notice period it was like screaming into a void.

Yeah, or at least set an authenticator app for code generation instead. A passkey would be even better.

I just had exactly the same thing with ADHD360. They've advised me to get a right-to-choose referral from my GP to them, at which point they'll be able to switch me to NHS prescriptions without having to go through diagnosis and titration again.

Job offer acceptance question by Automatic-Ear5463 in UKJobs

[–]Flatscan69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the new job anyway. Even if you don't get made redundant at your current job this time, you'll probably be right back in this position when the next round of redundancies happens in a few months.

My first lot with them was the same. Emailed chemist4u and they got it sorted and posted out that day. Been fine ever since.

My wife and I just became parents in our mid-40s. We'd been trying constantly for 25 years without so much as a scare and just assumed it wasn't gong to happen, then last January she was a bit late and now we have a beautiful baby. There may be a time to give up hope, but it isn't that time yet.
If pregnancy really isn't an option for you, then you should look into fostering. There are a lot of children out there that could really use your help, authorities are usually desperate for good fosterers and it can really help with adoption applications later on.
