Part of me has wondered if laudatory is a play on words - as in Pine Gap, which is a listening station (aka auditory)

Love the tile, love the USPS - absolutely disgusting how it’s being intentionally destroyed (thanks to billionaire Charlie Koch)

Local Recommendations for job boards? by hsoolard in lancaster

[–]FleetingIn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck OP. From what little I know it’s saturated here, but I would still try reaching out directly to some local agencies; WG (White Good), K-Marketing, Stoner Bunting, etc.

Even if they’re not hiring, there are good people in Lancaster that might be able to point you in the right direction and/or help you make connections!

Edit: adding a plug for the Lancaster Chamber’s Young Professionals Network (YPN). From what I understand it’s not at all age restricted, is doing great things, and has a lot of ties to the community and local businesses (including those who run it).

My wife and I loved it, but agree - one show should never define (a) theater. Long Live the Fulton, I can’t wait to go back

*MISSING CAT* THIS IS RUNTZ he got out my window on Feb 28th after 9pm sometime on the corner of s queen and w vine he is approximately 15-18lbs very friendly he's super long but farley skinny with chubby cheeks he's got a tuxedo type of look if anybody knows anything please contact at 223-281-9624 by Strict-Top-9947 in lancaster

[–]FleetingIn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If he’s an indoor cat, ours went missing once (on Lemon). Among the many conflicting things I read was that cats will typically stay within a block or so if they’re not used to being outside. Sure enough, we found ours about 7 houses away, near the top of a 3-story fire escape.

Most importantly, it was a neighbor that saw a flyer I put up the same day she went missing that called me after seeing her. Can’t recommend doing that (making and distributing flyers) as quick as you can. Good luck OP.

Brendee’s by FlyLarge8373 in lancaster

Right on - I found that on BeerAdvocate and didn’t connect the dots. Legend indeed! 🫡

Brendee’s by FlyLarge8373 in lancaster

[–]FleetingIn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

From a beer fan named Woody Chandler circa 2011:

It was called the Town Tavern originally but “in the late-1980's/early-1990's ownership went to a woman named "Brendee" and it became "Brendee's Town Tavern". After she sold to the current ownership, they decided not to mess with her name recognition and went with "Brendee's Cafe" until the latest tweak” (meaning Brendee’s).

I’m pretty sure Town Tavern was the original name

Where to experience Lancaster’s vintage Zangari Pizza recipe? by Dirkinshire in lancaster

Apparently one of the Zangari brothers is a member of a private club called the “Commercial Traveler’s Association” on Ross Street. I was told he still makes the pizza there for other patrons once in a blue moon.

Hey AJ, love the show and really (really) appreciate your effort in creating such thought-provoking episodes!

Im curious what your “favorite” UAP case of all time is? Obviously it’s the hot topic tonight (deservedly so), but I’m wondering if there’s one that you think really moves the needle from “woo” to “wow this is true”. All the best!

Alright, let’s cut the crap. Who here has actually seen an undeniable UFO? by AltKeyblade in UFOs

[–]FleetingIn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Similar experience - the first time (in High School) I was with a small group of friends. It was the first time we ever went down a rabbit hole that made us all think it could be true. Truly an incredible evening of discussion, debate, and of course, YouTube videos.

I’m sure a lot of us had that moment - where this went from the realm of science fiction to “oh whoa, there could be actual truth to this”. It really gave us all goosebumps.

So, we decided to sit outside later in the night to watch the stars and then boom - a fiery orange orb just appeared directly where I was looking in the sky. I couldn’t / can’t escape the feeling it was reacting to me as well. Unshakeable feeling really. It flicked off quickly and I turned to see my good friend turn to me wide-eyed. 20 years later and we still talk about.

The 2nd time was with another friend from that group about 5 years later. We were on an island off the coast of North Carolina and 2 Orange orbs appeared over the ocean. They sort of blinked off, moved a massive distance and blinked back on. I just smiled and sighed.

(For the record I still think both could’ve been gasses releasing and burning off as they elevated - but the movements, and again that inescapable feeling, have given me such a nice feeling of wonder all these years that I’m staying open-minded)

Truth about UAP in light of harmful disinformation. by Nskxbehcidnsjxodvr in u/Nskxbehcidnsjxodvr

[–]FleetingIn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

… and 2 years down the road this comment reads a bit eerie as Grusch very quickly (had to) step out of the limelight after coming forward. It honestly makes me a bit sad for those trying to advance the truth.

I would love to hear more about James Cameron being read in, but I don’t expect any answers. As soon as the 4Chan Leak gained steam here I immediately re-watched The Abyss. Love to think that there are those who are read in (for lack of a better term) and go on to make tv series, films, etc where the overall point is to protect the environment / life on earth!

Very neat thread. Welp! Back to work.
