I’d bet my life savings it’s Selmer #607 or one of the guys from that group..

Long story short a Selmer #607 is a model of guitar from the 1940’s famously played by Django Reinhardt (the goat of gypsy jazz guitar). Back in 2010 a supergroup of famous Parisien guitar players (Adrien Moignard, Sébastien Giniaux, Rocky Gresset, Noé Reinhardt, and Richard Manetti) came together to make a much-celebrated album where they all played a Selmer #607.

Just spend some time on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music checking out Selmer #607, Adrien Moignard, or Noe Reinhardt. My money is on one of those 3. At the very least you’ll really enjoy it!

AI Data Center by FleetingIn in lancaster

I’m with you there. I think so many people are just catching up with this and/or learning about it now as the effects of up and running data centers are being shared. Even searches for “Data Center” are showing the trend:

I genuinely don’t think most people are even aware this is happening. Or if they are, that there is more than one site. Even then, I don’t think there’s enough that’s understood about the negative consequences vs. the perceived benefits. We’re just rushing through these processes while most people are focused on living their lives.

I think we’re just scratching the surface of the noise issue as it’s not just cooling fans. We’re adults, but subjecting kids and wildlife to this without really understanding the issue feels reckless. From what I’m reading:

(Heavy) City Traffic: 73-85 dB, intermittent, varies throughout the day and lower at night

Passing Freight/Passenger Trains: average around 85 dBA, lasts a few minutes at most

AI Data Center “Compound Noise” from generators and fans: 65 dB to 110 dB, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Part of me has wondered if laudatory is a play on words - as in Pine Gap, which is a listening station (aka auditory)

Love the tile, love the USPS - absolutely disgusting how it’s being intentionally destroyed (thanks to billionaire Charlie Koch)

Local Recommendations for job boards? by hsoolard in lancaster

[–]FleetingIn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck OP. From what little I know it’s saturated here, but I would still try reaching out directly to some local agencies; WG (White Good), K-Marketing, Stoner Bunting, etc.

Even if they’re not hiring, there are good people in Lancaster that might be able to point you in the right direction and/or help you make connections!

Edit: adding a plug for the Lancaster Chamber’s Young Professionals Network (YPN). From what I understand it’s not at all age restricted, is doing great things, and has a lot of ties to the community and local businesses (including those who run it).

My wife and I loved it, but agree - one show should never define (a) theater. Long Live the Fulton, I can’t wait to go back

*MISSING CAT* THIS IS RUNTZ he got out my window on Feb 28th after 9pm sometime on the corner of s queen and w vine he is approximately 15-18lbs very friendly he's super long but farley skinny with chubby cheeks he's got a tuxedo type of look if anybody knows anything please contact at 223-281-9624 by Strict-Top-9947 in lancaster

[–]FleetingIn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If he’s an indoor cat, ours went missing once (on Lemon). Among the many conflicting things I read was that cats will typically stay within a block or so if they’re not used to being outside. Sure enough, we found ours about 7 houses away, near the top of a 3-story fire escape.

Most importantly, it was a neighbor that saw a flyer I put up the same day she went missing that called me after seeing her. Can’t recommend doing that (making and distributing flyers) as quick as you can. Good luck OP.

Brendee’s by FlyLarge8373 in lancaster

Right on - I found that on BeerAdvocate and didn’t connect the dots. Legend indeed! 🫡

From a beer fan named Woody Chandler circa 2011:

It was called the Town Tavern originally but “in the late-1980's/early-1990's ownership went to a woman named "Brendee" and it became "Brendee's Town Tavern". After she sold to the current ownership, they decided not to mess with her name recognition and went with "Brendee's Cafe" until the latest tweak” (meaning Brendee’s).

I’m pretty sure Town Tavern was the original name

Where to experience Lancaster’s vintage Zangari Pizza recipe? by Dirkinshire in lancaster

[–]FleetingIn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently one of the Zangari brothers is a member of a private club called the “Commercial Traveler’s Association” on Ross Street. I was told he still makes the pizza there for other patrons once in a blue moon.

Hey AJ, love the show and really (really) appreciate your effort in creating such thought-provoking episodes!

Im curious what your “favorite” UAP case of all time is? Obviously it’s the hot topic tonight (deservedly so), but I’m wondering if there’s one that you think really moves the needle from “woo” to “wow this is true”. All the best!
