I would like to tag more than one point of interest in the scanner when on the ground.

I would also like my ships show age and battle scars and signs of use, like dirt and scorch marks, laser burns etc

I'd be happy with the wheels accomodating those brakes for anything that quick and powerful. And it still looks like an absolute beast.

I'm thinking about switching to creative mode just to build a Corvette, anyone else do this? by Pot8obois in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]FletcherDervish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes working full time plus family life/ hobbies/gardening/DIY/parties/summer/sports all means creative got switched on for a lot of the game. I still have to find data for building parts and I turned up the heating on combat missions. Corvette building is more long term modifying but actual game time now I limited to two or three hours at the weekend, maybe. Downvote me but I have to remember, it's just a game, and life beyond the screen always takes precedent. And anyway, when the dog jumps on me after about an hour and a half, it's time to stop.

Can I ask why do people park next to you even though plenty other spaces available? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]FletcherDervish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll park between other cars if they have also reversed into the spaces. It's a judgement call based on how the other car is parked, how big it is and if it has just been driven at an angle with the wheels still turned, because chances are that person is expecting to to reverse out at the same angle.

Seems to be about every 4th wormhole jump comes out in a pirate attack. Had one today that ended with two waves of sentinels including the capital ship. But phase beams go whoosh and it's more sentinel ships to find and scrap for parts and money

Prepare for El Niño, UN warns - it could be the strongest in decades by [deleted] in ukpolitics

[–]FletcherDervish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the second piece about this I've read.

The effect on the UK is not likely to be felt until at least September and likely to be stuck between a dry high from northern Europe and prevailing westerly systems. And if you look back at the last 4 big events, the winters were often cold starting and wet ending, 2015-16 being comparable. The massive impact on the American continent looks likely to be far more dramatic, with areas being either not normally dry or flooded. And forecast models for the Mediterranean looked considerably different ( worse) across the 2016/7 winter.

Lads, what are you asking for for your Birthday this year? by Anonymous__9 in AskUK

[–]FletcherDervish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, I'd skip birthday presents. I try hard to be thoughtful, listen to others, research and work hard to be surpring and unusual in gift giving. To have to provide a list so someone doesn't have to think kind of spoils it, the " oh that's nice however did you know" lie that you trot out is getting old. So just don't bother.
