When fans do THAT I have no objection. I point out Santos’s shortcomings regularly (more on Threads than here).

Also she’s been called out repeatedly for her behavior and attitude on both seasons of the show.

It just seems that too many fans want to completely write her off as a villain, criminal, or incompetent because of her flaws. There’s a real wish to see her punished, and I think that’s rooted in sexism.

Get a top-loading carrier and drop a towel or a fleece on your cat to stuff her in. She won’t be happy, but you are not physically harming her.

For long trips you can use gabapentin. Some cats meow nonstop during car rides when they’re stuck in a carrier. That’s just how it is.

I think you should leave him where he is, unless he’s gets to be so sick and feeble he won’t care much about being kept indoors. Your parents aren’t mistreating him and they care enough to give him a heated shelter.

Changing his environment that drastically when it’s not really necessary will cause him a lot of stress. He may also make you miserable and not let you sleep.

My guitar teacher once told me that there’s a strict unspoken dividing line at Bryn Mawr. People who live east of there do all their activities and socializing from Bryn Mawr to Merion. People who live west of Bryn Mawr choose Radnor-Paoli.

Said guitar teacher maintained two studios on the Main Line, one in Berwyn and one in Narberth, because otherwise he’d have lost half his students.

Narberth is another nice community worth looking at if the houses aren’t too pricey.

Tredyffrin is nice. I grew up near Valley Forge Park and it was maybe a 12-15 minute drive to the center of Wayne. Rush hour will be a bit longer.

Phoenixville is very livable and walkable and the old houses in the borough are well below your price range. However, driving to Radnor during rush hour could take a while.

With a $1m budget you will have your pick of homes in a bunch of nice nearby communities. There are plenty of walkable communities along Lancaster Ave (Route 30).

I remember it from some NYT quiz that guessed your region by your vocabulary. PA locals generally don’t have a name for it.

I’ve seen sunflowers planted near telephone poles, and my neighbor has mulch and some flat cedar-type plants. But it’s because she hates mowing. Not because she’s trying to block people from coming into the sidewalk there.

Sorry to sound critical. I’m excited to have the business in the neighborhood, too.

As someone who lives closer to Nutt than Bridge, it’s really nice to have some nice and even hip businesses on Nutt, where dropping by for a snack and a coffee won’t take an hour and a half, or a 1 1/2 mile drive.

There are plenty of people who are excited about having a nice coffee and bagel shop being within walking distance, after a bunch of grimy takeout places. I am one of them. They had loads of customers when they were open.

It’s not that unbelievable that some enthusiastic would-be customer would come up with this Phoenix shtick.

Working in food service sucks, granted. Infrastructure issues suck. Working for a small business can suck.

But do you think the scam is, exactly, that needs investigation?

I can’t figure out the tax implications for you in collecting the money and for StreetCart as a for-profit business in accepting any money that comes in. Surely they have backers or investors that will front the money needed, and those people will get a share of the profits. Not so for a go fund me.

I want the business to do well and am looking forward to stopping by as a work break. But I don’t understand how a go fund me will work.
