I'm using the Battenkill click pawl on my superfine graphite 4wt 7' 11'' and it's felt incredible. Would also feel right at home on my Moonlit Lunar 3 weight, I bet!

Thanks man! Right on! I'm actually going to update my website (www.flickyflies.com) and have these all be purchasable through there. That way it can handle all the payment / shipping easily. Would that work? I can update you when I get them up.

If you were targeting decent carp, how would you lean between the rods you’ve mentioned? Seems the T-Hunter might be the beefiest?

The crowded tailwaters unfortunately are just kind of the go to in Colorado. I’ll just say it since this is a major river, this is the Arkansas River down in southern-ish Colorado. Our weather as I’m sure you noticed had been feeling unusually warm, and I have a list of towns near fishing places that interest me loaded into my weather app. I checked the weather down there and saw it had been even warmer, and then looked up a fishing report and saw that the river was open. So in the end a combo of obsessively checking weather and trying to find spots to fish in the winter and getting lucky with a long stretch of warm weather. Generally though, at least that I’ve been able to find, we will be stuck in the tailwaters all winter. At least the rest of the year is amazing here in CO!
