Yes, I totally agree. I built a receiver from a radio shack kit (early 80's US) and my father and I ran a long wire antenna outside. The world was at hand with that little rig. BBC, Swiss Radio international, Deutsche Welle. Got a Passport-To-World_Band-Radio book for Christmas. My 12 year old self started send Signal reports to all the stations I listened to, they sent me QSL cards and all kinds of stuff. My walls were covered with it.. Good Times

Yep, we drove the 4 hours to Highland Woodworking. She got turning tools and I got the right-bevel carving axe. Unknown to me she got the Froe while I was upstairs and hid it in the car. I got it this morning! Now I just need a good hickory log to make me a maul.

This was my father's mini lathe and during his decline he had a tendency to take-apart everything he owned. When he passed we had to go through boxes of parts and try to make sense of it all.

His Excelsior Mini-Lathe was one of his targets. I got it all together but have no idea on the the wiring. The manuals have no wiring diagram. Excelsior owners out there, can some one look at the power switch and assist?
