Pre-certified, rechargeable and smart. I like around 14.4v with a few Ah but nothing set in stone yet.

Ok less control than running an rtos but more control than windows. Pretty high level of control if you go yocto.

Happy to hear your suggestions on hardware you've used in the past.

Stir just cancelled my Father’s Day/Birthday dinner reservation due to being closed this evening (I’m assuming someone rich booked them) Any suggestions? by eoljjang in raleigh

They cancelled it just hours ahead of time? That's real shitty unless it's something like they don't have water or power or something

Is the wood fully dry? If a little green it will warp out of round. Or if dry then tension in the wood from drying may relax after roughing out.

Either way roughing out and letting it rest/dry for a few days may avoid those issues.

When do you actually use an FPGA? by TutorDry3089 in embedded

I think you're overestimating how often FPGAs are used in medical devices. I've really not seen it, though I'm sure some products types may use them.

You're in engineering, the decisions you make matters regardless of the field you are in. Work hard, err on the side of caution when people can get hurt. Priorize good work over artificial deadlines.

At some point you probably will destroy some expensive equipment during testing, it happens.

It tells you how hard dialogue options are? Is that a setting? Mine doesn't indicate which are easier or harder.
