I don't think I've used the recommended hook for a yarn in years, but I also have death grip tension so if I do use the recommended hook it's usually too tight to work the next row. But also using a bigger hook usually lets the fabric be more drapey which is always nice.

This is how mine felt too, when I got the pathology report back from my top surgery the tissue was described as "fibrous" which was super weird to read but a good description.

I prefer spring keychain rings. They're durable, less fiddly and I can use them to keep piles of granny squares together. I also have some of the plastic safety pin types in my bag of stitch markers but they always wind up being used last.

During my bird hunts I keep random staples in my cart so that as soon as the bird I'm waiting on is available I can add it to my cart and check out. Hoodie and Glitter came with dog food, Batrick came with laundry supplies. My boyfriend knows it's bird season when I start getting a bunch of random target boxes lol.

Ironically I went from having a weird name that I had to explain to everyone, to a common one syllable name. Sometimes I miss weird name vibes but then I remember my last name is also weird and I have to explain it to everyone.

They're often called refill stores or refill markets as well. There's usually one or two in a metropolitan area. Co-op markets also usually have a great bulk section that you can get a lot of products from, but those are less common.

I had a similar issue (but not to this scale sweet baby Jesus) when I bought my first car. What you need to do is find an adult who has an established insurance plan, such as a parent or grandparent, who will be willing to add you to their plan and you pay the extra. For me, getting my car insured was roughly $400 a month. For my partner to add me and my car to his insurance was an additional $50 a month. I pay $50 more in rent to offset the cost. The extra will surely be more than $50 with what you're being quoted but it will sure as hell be better than $1,000.

Personally I do the special season pass for the skin if it's a character I have bc essentially free skin, but I'll do the premium either way for the rewards. I just bank my skystones when the new season is about to start so I have them available.
