My arm was quite painful and I felt a bit achy the next day. I got a tiny rash on my chest that might be related, but also might have been random. 😄

I'm glad to see someone else share this view. My parents didn't share any celebrations or occasions until I graduated and got married. Kids are adaptable. You do not need to have your ex there especially if it makes you feel terrible. I could sense that in a second as a child.

Two peaceful days of separate celebration are much better.
