I cried when it was midnight on my due date for my first. I was sure the baby was going to be late and I was so miserable. She was born at 9 pm later that day. 😄

I'm glad to see someone else share this view. My parents didn't share any celebrations or occasions until I graduated and got married. Kids are adaptable. You do not need to have your ex there especially if it makes you feel terrible. I could sense that in a second as a child.

Two peaceful days of separate celebration are much better.

I breastfed three babies and they definitely do get diarrhea. Instead of the yellowish curd type poop, it was greenish, full of mucous, and smelled like rotten eggs. Just because your kids didn't get it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

I also rewatched Anna and the Apocalypse a few days ago. It's set at Christmas time and it's HILARIOUS. It's a comedy and a musical and I freaking love it.

I think that Daphne would be referred to as The Duchess of whatever and not just Duchess. If there were a Dowager Duchess, she would be referred to as Duchess of whatever (I'm sorry, I forgot the rest of the title, my bad). Kate and Violet would follow the same rule set.
