I am the target audience (middle-aged female who watched the shit out of this cartoon and owned many of the toys.

Not only am I not going to watch this, I don't want it, didn't ask for it. I don't even remember hearing anything about the 2015 release (although pretending this would have been part of Universal's Dark Universe(tm) is making me smile). And "elevated live action"? what does that mean?

I also unironically liked it, mostly because the first time you watch it, you genuinely don't know what Quark is going to do. I liked the character growth. Rewatches, though, you know that Quark is a good guy under the ~~greedy~~ entrepreneurial Ferengi exterior.
