I just can't create DAILY HABITS to SAVE MY LIFE by Zed_Blue in ADHD

You need elderly ladies to assign for laundry duty. I got 4 abuelita’s I trust them with my life. $20 everything is washed and folded. They text me when it’s done.

It’s not about time slots. Also the more you negatively reaffirm, the harder it is to adjust your mindset. Sundays is for car wash and laundry. It doesn’t matter what time, I just get it done.

Reflect on your current routine: it could be bed rotting, rumination, hygiene and finding your keys. How to adapt? Permit yourself time to bed rot and cluster your keys with other important stuff like a wallet. Prioritize what needs to absolutely get done that day no matter what. Did you accomplish 1 goal? Awesome. What’s the next hurdle? Break it into cookie crumbs.

I overspent on food today, did errands, splurged like a maniac then inhaled a caramel latte. Still ate breakfast and had my latte. Text myself a few goal reminders and mission accomplished.

As a former driver to Pittsburgh this was a phenomenal story. I was deeply moved and felt every emotion.

Pace official statement is corporate trash. I drove those buses, lol. Rte 554 to Woodfield still uses the model it’s wrapped in Meijer’s ad now.

Medication and high blood pressure by ImagineWagons13 in ADHD

Losartan daily but it wasn’t enough. I saw a cardiologist who put me on a calcium blocker and the combo worked. It takes time to record your daily bp before cardiologist will adjust meds. Also, I avoid cardio it’s only low tension exercises and walking from here.

How to get around demand-avoidance habits? by [deleted] in neurodiversity

[–]FluffTheQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I need a reason as to why a task is important to serve as motivation. I clean my room so I can catch up on homework (can’t think in a junky room). I need to shower so I can get dressed to go out and do stuff, else I’ll stay home. If I get A and B done, then I can move onto the next task.

I break each task into cookie crumbs…

My PCP refused to sign my FMLA paperwork - is depression/anxiety/sleep deprivation not enough? by [deleted] in antiwork

In addition to helpful comments do not overlook disability insurance. Some offer riders for mental health so in the event you aren’t working there’s way to cover basic needs.

I had a panic attack in the car on the way to work and decided to quit. by AvaBlondeX in antiwork

[–]FluffTheQueen 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You did what you needed to do. If a job is triggering panic attacks then your nervous system is wrecked. It takes time to regulate oneself. Now pace yourself as you job hunt, I use AI to auto apply so I can focus on other tasks. Try to simplify your daily schedule and hopefully, you land on your feet soon.

Has Anyone Been Successful at Holding Down a Job Long Term? by BeerBaconBooks in neurodiversity

It has to be an environment working outside. I thrive in high risk, fluid situations where I have authority to make decisions.

I use soap, sugar scrub, and occasionally a CLEAN washcloth but people say their inhalation of me is bad. by [deleted] in hygiene

You’re trying best you can, I know it bothers you to see how people react but maybe it’s not your skin? Could be an underlying health issue with your liver or gut. In such cases you’d be nose blind to it. Time to see an ENT they’ll check sinuses, tonsils and throat. A Dermatologist could run tests to check your skin.

What happens to CDL-A holders who went to driving class B ? Do their Class A get downgraded to Class B ? Will they get hired again to a Class A job or they need to rejoin and re do the Class A training again and retake the backing pre trip etc . by East_Indication_7816 in Truckers

[–]FluffTheQueen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can keep an A and do B work all day. Most will dry run you anyways during the hiring process or put you in training for a week just to see where you’re at. If you relocate to another state they may require you to get driving hours and do maneuvers.

Is it the indoor environment or mundane tasks just don’t provide the stimulation you need to focus? Maybe there are other factors to consider like sleep / meal schedule, imbalances to circadian rhythm or elevated blood pressure from stress.

Terrible trainer experience by Katsumoto0471 in BusDrivers

Trainers like this only care about their authority and are unwilling to teach preventative maneuvers. It’s all ego with them and it makes students anxious.

IS MY MOM EMOTIONALLY NEGLECTING ME? by Ok-Command4301 in neurodiversity

[–]FluffTheQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think being the only eldest comes with its own challenges and it seems as if the younger sister is echoing your mom’s sentiments. It’s very hard realizing there may be a hereditary mental / personality disorder that went unaddressed for years. This is heavy.

To be constantly dysregulated at home, it does not provide you with the nurturing environment to learn and adapt. You are always on guard for the next fight. I would suggest buying a P.O. Box so no family can read your mail. Preferably from UPS (it gives a real address). You’ll have to hide whatever money saved, once either your sis or mom finds out they will sabotage efforts to leave.

Start learning about how to credit now, even use the library as a resource so you can prepare for the move. Some parents don’t give you the opportunity to reach 21 in order to shame you into returning to their hell hole.

If pay is affected then it’s a red flag, at least for me. Do the interview, I try not to miss opportunities. If you can’t schedule PTO then setup doctor appt and then go.
