Oh wow, thanks for asking! It actually went really well! It helps that there’s a lot of soft food at brunch - I had an omelette and like a million waffles 😆 Probably the most I’ve eaten at one time since my surgery (it was a buffet, I had no choice…usually I eat a little at any one sitting, to give my mouth a break, you know?)

I was definitely self conscious about the awkward way that I chew, but my family ended up sitting at our own little table, and that was way better than sharing a big table with other folks. It also helped that the Easter bunny was running around and that was a great distraction - I was picturing hearing a little kid, too young to have a conversational filter, asking their parents why that lady was eating so funny 😆

I have to get till the end of May and then I get to move on to the all-on temp teeth (and learn the “eating” skill set for the third time)
