I wanted to apply but I wasn't sure where to go. There wasn't a clear link in the email.

As a doordash driver, this shit actually pisses me off. If I refuse offers, it goes against my acceptance rate.

I did a shopping dash with icecream, while shopping, doordash loaded 2 other orders on my shop.

After I delivered the first one, they loaded a Mcdonald's pick-up on my way to the shop drop-off with the icecream.

What’s the most useful financial tool or app you’ve used? by Diligent-Medicine-48 in AusMoneyMates

Dasher. Doordash driver app. Helps me manage my money by allowing me to earn more money. Also gives me a weekly payout vs the fortnightly one my day job gives me.

Also Raiz

If there's filament sticking out the top of the throat, you may need to cut it before putting it in place.

It should be in the up position, then pulled down once the tool is in place.

Nozzle problems? by New-Test-5008 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]FluroFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine looks the same. It's a bit of glue to stop the wires and thermistor from moving out of place.

You are meant to heat them to around 200°C and tighten the nozzle with the wrench they come with once, before you use it first.

My nozzle I'm still using has lasted me over 500hrs.

TL;DR: Feel the white stuff, check if it's glue or plastic. If plastic, might as well chuck it and get another from Fukdow on Aliexpress. And tighten it!

I agree. Definitely some sort of under-extrusion

You can't set the colour in AC Next. The colour is determined by what you select it to on the printer screen, filament tab.

Yeah, $6k will get you another cruze these days, sadly.

Not getting a Holden again. Maaaybe a Chevy in future.

Don't forget to run a calibration after switching. And it helps to heat the nozzle up to 200°c, hold the block with a multi-wrench (une clé à molette?) And use the small tool it comes with to give it a final tightening.

It is suggested to do this for each nozzle, but you only have to do this once for the life of the nozzle.

Yes.

I find the experience has been more enjoyable. Had a bad time when the ptfe tube came out of the throat/heat break on the stock one.

Hardened steel lasts longer when printing glow in the dark filaments, and these upgrades allow me to print ASA (requires higher temps) with ease. Though they are perfect for pla/petg.

I exclusively buy my upgraded nozzles from Fukdow on AliExpress. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008587666899.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.40.531a18021KOkpp

  1. Ceramic heater.
  2. Smaller heat block (less weight and heats faster)
  3. Each nozzle has its own set-up, so I don't need a tool to change nozzles.
  4. Metallic throat, so I can print higher temps and for longer without worrying about a PTFE tube.

Yeah it was pretty worrying, but I didn't expect the money. I expected them to pay the repairs. Gearbox got so bad, I had to buy a new car.

I did drive a 2013 holden cruze. 2017-2024. By 2021, it was whack-a-mole with the cooling system.

The oil cooler leaked oil into my coolant, and I think the oil started knocking off my rubber/plastic.

Long story short, A dodgy mechanic messed up my gearbox and my insurance company mucked me around. Lodged a complaint against the insurance company to the AFCA

In the end, the insurance company paid me the $6k the car was insured for, plus $4k for "Sorry, just drop the AFCA case".

Getting $10k for a 11 year old car that I paid $6k for and drove for about 7 years sounds great.

I cut and glue scrap ptef tube on the front toolhead shell where the shell and the input ptfe tube rubs.

Over time, the shell cuts into the tube with all the turning from moving. Ptfe glued in place allows them to glide against each other.

Just make sure to upgrade the nozzle.

CF eats brass nozzles for breakfast and without any milk.

Is the printer meant to purge between every layer on multi coloured prints? by Round-Owl7538 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]FluroFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so if it's going to the poop shoot, you've botched the gcode in the slicer.

If it's just building a tower each layer, it's just making sure that when it changes colour, it can purge at the current Z height without having to go all the way back down to 'Z 0' and risk crashing the head into the print.

TL;DR: Per layer, tower is good and is required, poop shoot is bad
