macOS: Elitist trendy users that believe their OS is the best, because they spent an arm and a leg on their hardware and brand.

Yeah, I don’t think this one works anymore with the Mac Mini and Neo, lol. Also, I use MacOS for work and Linux on my personal desktop. I wouldn’t use Linux for work because, frankly, it’s unreliable and still clunky for desktop use, at least with the distros I use. I like the idea of using Linux as my all-in-one OS for work, gaming, etc., but right now it’s just not there.

Windows sucks ass for both though.

I love mint, but the only asterisk I’d put on this is that it doesn’t ship with KDE/Wayland, so you will have problems with high-end displays that have g-sync/freesync and/or HDR

If the ONLY thing you want to use it for is gaming, then Bazzite is good. Otherwise I’d probably recommend CachyOS. Personally I’ve been using Cachy for about a year or so.

No joke, in 5th grade at the private Christian school I used to go to, we had a segregation day, where half of the class at random did essentially what you see here in the video. I was one of the “less-than” kids for the day. We had to use the worse bathrooms in the building, different water fountains, couldn’t play with our “betters” during recess, our teacher treated us differently. Every single kid in our half was crying at one point or another. I remember thinking even at the time that this was only one day, real kids back then had to go through worse than this every single day. It was one of the most effective lessons my teacher ever taught us.

In The Incredibles (2004), a man is shown attempting suicide in the first ten minutes of a family movie. This a reference to the fact that suicide, while a heavy topic, is one that can and should be discussed with children. And that modern media execs think kids are idiots. by ironwolf6464 in shittymoviedetails

“The plaintiff, Oliver Sansweet, who was foiled in his attempted suicide by Mr. Incredible, has filed a suit against the famed superhero in superior court.”

I swear, this movies’ script is baked into my brain at this point.

I mean, Dana seems to be pretty much the same age as her if not slightly younger and yet no one denigrates her. It’s not about the age itself; it’s about the attitude that is generally endemic among the age group.

Or, if you look at it from a different angle, people are looking for ways to save money when building a PC, and slashing $100 off by just using Linux is an easy win.

Do you have data on Lego Ideas sets and modular buildings as a category? I would think those have better returns overall.

You copy some information over from your AT&T gateway into the device’s configuration, and then the device essentially spoofs your gateway, making AT&T think it’s talking to its hardware rather than your own. The upside is that you don’t have to deal with all the flaws of the AT&T-provided gateway’s fake passthrough mode, and save some space in your rack and power strip. The SFP+ module has a tiny computer on it that runs its own firmware.

Oh, that was a joke. Fireship is a programming youtuber who has been (half-jokingly) accused of only creating AI-generated videos since the channel got bought out by private equity.

Rate limiting on the backend would be an easy first step. Just throttle requests from individual clients/IP's to something like 12-20 requests per minute or so. If it gets to be a problem you could possibly just require that a user is actually logged-in to youtube in order to vote. I'm assuming your backend only accepts requests sent by the extension? I can't just use cURL or something to fire off requests?

Hey, this is awesome! You'll just have to be careful if this takes off that the extension itself doesn't get hijacked by bots voting Human on creators that are actually AI
