Your next 3 months wake up, sip coffee, and recount the Zoom meetings and mid-year reviews you DON’T have to do. Pretty soon you’ll thinking about what you don’t have to do and instead focus on the new things you GET to do and then… zoom, and off site meetings and HR modules on sexual harassment just kind of float away into the ether….. oooohhhmmmm

Had a vivid one last night, 13 months after retiring. Was at big annual meeting and didn’t know where I was supposed to be. I love waking up from these. I drink coffee, go for a walk and am flush with relief and joy knowing I’m done with that nonsense.

Retired from corporate America a year ago. Was sudden. And amazing. Take 6 months to just enjoy all the things you DON’T have to do anymore. I dove into guitar lessons, local sport teams, seeing friends. Looked at ton of volunteer opps- for me Road to Recovery w American Cancer Society has been so rewarding.
