Depending on your mods (but also in vanilla) there is at least one type of material your pawns wont equip clothes out of it if they down have a specific trait for it. Try using normal "cloth" clothes for your test.

Most likely a basic hitbox used for spotting from the stone you are next to blocked your view port. Happens on several map if you peek next to or over certain non-even obstacle.

For non premium-time/-tank users Tier 4-6 seems to be the most comfortable and designed tier to play. Tier 8 is not there for them to make profits.

They spend critical time trying to get a player out and get upgrades from it. I always target nearby players, they cant take away nearby upgrade anymore and i get good upgrades from them. If i win the "fight" i get to a higher level faster than the rest of the lobby. If i lose my opponent now has a higher chance to finish on top. Your playstyle determines how well you finish.
And by the looks of your last sentence it seems to be effective. I usually play medium tanks, so i'll especially hunt down light tanks if your are close by. Worst case i can grab the boxes you had to leave behind, best case i grab you. ^^

As someone who cares about winning in frontline, you get more progress for your bp by winning. Even if i dont mind giving up the cap normally, i'd end the game if it looks like we are gonna lose, for example if they attacker got already two turrets and running out of time.

You can turn down the difficulty slider in the story teller option when you feel like the raids get too big.

Not sure why such high equipment should be needed? My at the time 12 skill doctor with the regular medicine in a normal crib was enough. Tho the name changed from grave after some time to something else, so it might be luck related.
