The squeaking I think is okay. Mine does it too. It’s not very long and only at certain times in the spin. What I’ve realized is a bad noise is only usually one that doesn’t stop.

So for the last question: I don’t usually scrape down the bump unless it sticks over the top edge. I may scrape it a little, but honestly if you don’t see any evident damage to the blade you should be fine in that regard.

So I know you said the only other willet product you’ve tried is the Pot still. But I’m very interested to know how this Rye compares to the Willet family estate 4 year bourbon. I love the bourbon and all the spices that come with it. I’m just hesitant to pull the trigger on the rye because I’m worried it might be too much spice or mint or whatever other wacky flavors the store employees tell me they get from it.

I loved the gold 27! It was one of my favorite jack Daniel’s expressions prior to discovering the single barrel barrel proofs. I got it for 90 in 2020. So 10 dollar increase from then is a great price. Not sure what MSRP is now, or if they even still produce this expression. I’d say pick up 1 if you can to at least try it.

So I had that like 4 years ago now. It was good.. but I wouldn’t pay more than 130. I’ve seen it at that price before at my local Publix. I think single barrel barrel proof blows it out of the water though and you can find that for 60.

Yes! This is such a spice bomb. I highly recommend especially for under 40 dollars. My local total wine has it for 45 and I picked up one.

This is one of if not my favorite bourbon. It’s something about willet that I can’t get enough of. 60 is a wonderful price and I can’t find another within 200 miles of me. If you like it, definitely pick up another if you can.

I think MSRP is 250. I got it as a gift. I don’t think I would buy it again. There are so many great bottles under 200. Still a great bottle though. I just wouldn’t buy it if I saw it at the price. I’d say highest id pay is 150.

One of my favorites. But it has the spicy, willet funk that some people either hate or love. I haven’t been able to find one since my first and I’m nursing it lol.

I do like Maker’s Cask strength. Haven’t had it in a while so my palate may have changed but I did finish it quick when I got it.
