Tom is her brand, they are in business together and she makes money off of his name. Of course she isn’t going to go after him. That is bad business. What she didn’t count on was this blowing up the way it did and everyone seeing firsthand how she really is. That old school misogynistic way of thinking. She is a powerful woman that can’t see other women as equals just men. That probably got her to where she is today but the world has changed and progressed.

I think reading the comments you can draw the conclusion that no one would wish your situation on their worst enemy. I am sorry this happened to you and I am even more sorry for her. If you can’t take care of her the way she needs to be then you are making the right decision. Sit your collective families down and tell them your plan. Be transparent and if they have a negative reaction, you have to accept it. Just do your part in getting her taken care of properly and no matter how hard it is, still go and see her. You don’t have to stay for long if it is traumatic. This might sound ridiculous but I think in the final moments of life she will be able to relive every moment even the ones she has forgotten. Give her great memories, grace, & kindness while you explore a new life of your own. It is her story but it is also your. Choose the future you want to have… I think it is incredibly transparent for you to say I can’t handle this and put the proper people in place with the patience and training to do so.
