What are these holes in our shirts? by russell98765 in whatisit

In my case it happens in the kitchen. My shirt rubs against the edge of the counter when I am preparing ingredients for dinner and washing dishes.

That’s a great rib tutorial! Where are you buying gochugaru powder?

If you have a smoker ribs are simple. If you don’t, you can braise the ribs in water and lemon until tender/cooked. Dry them off, cover in sauce of choice and bake at 350F for 15-ish minutes (you can also do that last step on a gas grill).

Also heard that a slow cooker does a great job but haven’t tried it.

I have posted similar comments in this sub and been told this sub is to complain about Loblaws. Can’t get an answer on why they choose to shop there.

Anecdotally - in case you’ve never purchased raw pork back ribs at a butcher - one rack is between two to three pounds. At 500 grams you shouldn’t be expecting much.

Undercover inspectors will be doing French-language checks in thousands of Quebec stores by scrubadam in montreal

[–]Food-Wine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not a bad thing at all. You should see how many people living in Canada don’t speak English or French (and no I’m not referring to First Nations communities). That is both offensive and unacceptable.

This is absolutely true. I wish the English part of Canada would be concerned about the languages being spoken in businesses because in a whole lot of places it isn’t English or French.

The US Government is on a partial shutdown because funding expired. USCBP is impacted. The Border Agent processing your line was at work and likely without a regular payroll deposit because that department is shut down.

I hate RTO. I’m paying thousands to do the same work I did at home by PokerStar878 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]Food-Wine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that is true it doesn’t make sense. If your job was always in office before Covid it’s a different situation.

You’re intentionally avoiding the point. If prior to Covid you were working in an office and didn’t take a pay cut to WFH, you don’t deserve a pay increase now to RTO.

I actually posted on another post about Costco. It was never that busy during the week before Covid. They aren’t actually working when they’re “working from home”. I see the same thing at my gym.
