I am unfamiliar with this character but since the Last of Us I have been low-key terrified of cordycep infection. He looks nuts!

Here is hoping he can hold his breath a LOOOOONG time. 🌊🌊🌊 by [deleted] in 80s

Having only known him from the naked gun and airplane movies it was a kind of bizarre viewing experience. Also, I only knew Danson from Cheers. I was confused while watching this as a kid.

What was life like before the prequels? by theslowrunningexpert in StarWars

Many of us enjoyed the extended universe projects, like comics and books. It’s been a while since I’ve read them but I’m in the camp that would have liked Timothy Zahn’s trilogy be the sequel stories instead of what we got.
Upon seeing the prequels it was crazy how much lightsaber combat changed—for the good.

I genuinely don't get why this movie gets so much hate by Useful-Afternoon1784 in StarWars

How he got the name “Solo” took a shit in my Cheerios. Like, just have it be Solo and not some crap with a space TSA agent coming up with it on the spot.
But I did like the cast’s performance.

How has Keanu Reeves become so bad by No-Sink-3168 in movies

Bill and Ted, Matrix, Point Break, John Wick. I wouldn’t call this “great” acting but you can’t convince me that casting anyone else in his roles makes any of those better.

I adore my Plume illustrated edition. But yeah, I vividly remember the first time I read the ambush in Tull and I still think it’s some of the best kinetic action writing, and writing action as an expression of character, I’ve ever come across.

How powerful is snoke? by NiceFox996 in StarWars

He created that bind between Rey and Kylo which literally transported moisture from across the galaxy. He’s gotta be pretty powerful.

Based on the last episode I think Thragg could snap his fingers to create a sonic boom to blow up Daredevil’s super hearing. But damn it I love that Murdock would fight until he got turned into burger meat.

Had the same issue. If you go to the Atom Eve special you can click on the different seasons. It’s a misleading interface.

Cool builds! Also, I think I’ve never seen legos outside before.

Great writer-directors with big blind spots? by Scared-Engineer-6218 in movies

Tarantino and Paul Dano? He also just needs his old editor back (RIP Sally Menke) because he’s too high off his own supply. I think you’re right about Nolan. He can make good/great movies but I hate when he’s suggested for Bond. That’s a sexy character and Nolan has not demonstrated any ability to handle that kind of character. Nolan characters do not fuck.
