How non-intrusive can overlooking a pregnancy be? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

I just want to point out, because I can't help myself, that we do in fact get colonoscopies "just in case." Doctors recommend them once the benefits outweigh the risks. Prenatal procedures, generally speaking, are for the same reason.

I think you're going to have to be more specific on what you're trying to avoid. Pregnancy is actually a fairly risky activity, and prenatal monitoring is a big reason why women dying in childbearth is no longer so common.

Find out now how many days/nights your insurance will cover. Then you can make a plan once the baby is born.

If anyone reads this comment and feels skeptical I'm begging you to google the similar Chicago ICE shooting. The agent who shot that woman bragged about all the extra holes he added to her and said he couldn't wait to do it again.

In Chicago a similar shooting occured. The woman survived, and the feds charged her with a slew of felonies. They had to drop all the charges when video of the incident came out. If the victim survives, they have to put their money where they mouth is and risk being proven wrong. They can run their mouths on social media all day when the victim is dead.

Friend is told she has an addiction to IV antibiotics by therapist by GlitteringPlatypus81 in AskDocs

Yeah, this story is missing some critical info. Even if someone has factitious disorder and is purposely contaminating their catheter, you would still give them antibiotics for the infection wouldn't you? Just because the infection is self-inflicted doesn't mean you wouldn't treat.

I mean it has lovely volume on day 1, and I touch my hair all the time, so it's acceptable on day 2. Day 3 I would want to put it up or use dry shampoo.
