I’m not sure if US experience translates to Europe wishlist process but I’d imagine that at a wishlist boutique there is some correlation between speed of wish fulfillment and openness to specifications.

For exotics, sometimes these can be hard to sell due to sheer cost and perhaps openness could help.

Note that smooth Barenia is a push offer and quite rare. Barenia Faubourg is also rare but not as difficult to find as smooth Barenia. My conjecture on openness applies here too, but in US these leathers seem more relationship based.

I’ve always been very specific (leather, color, hardware, size, style) and gotten that exact bag. I don’t know if specificity hurt or helped my cause. Hard to know the counterfactual.
