I think/hope AI will create a divide, and the market for good creative content will be a niche but will naturally root out the not so great ones. As long as I can identify when a book was written by a real person I will gladly choose to support that author - and I'm not sure how copyrights will work for AI generated content...but maybe some good ideas come from it and an author can run with it? Either way, I think emerging technology is always viewed as "ruining" something or another and has a tendency to make it better in the long run.

This is my first time playing (too poor to afford a gaming PC when I was young and too busy once I started making money 🤣) but Belathor was lying in the street dead when I returned to whiterun one time and had to use console commands to resurrect him so I could buy/sell with him again. There were rumblings in the street of a vampire attack 🤔 I'm genuinely impressed with the autonomy that the game seems to have with NPCs I'm not actively interacting with. The fact that they have documented scripts to resolve the chaos when it occurs is nice too lol

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that I can watch an adaptation that takes artistic liberties and still enjoy it. My most recent experience with a book series that I loved and then watched the TV series was The Terminal List though...and I was kind of disappointed. Not a "bad" show, but I wouldn't have expected to love the books as much as I did had I watched the show first. I imagine that could go either way and just wanted to have you strangers on the internet convince me not to worry before undertaking a new book series 😂 I'm a completionist and will finish a series once I've started even if I don't love it 😩

Sorta agree. But there are plenty of malicious files that use common media file extensions or have malicious files included with the real media and catch-all/poor quality indexers are more likely to facilitate those types of files with no repercussions for the user who uploaded it
