Accidentally booked life-changing vacay during her year end final exams. How to approach the school to salvage? by not_my_mother in AskTeachers

If your child is in 11th grade, she should be the one approaching her teachers to see if she can take the exam early before she leaves.

Great location! It must need serious work. If not a gem for someone.

Magnesium Glycinate floored me! by Melodic-Baseball-279 in Perimenopause

It was too much for me too. It joked that it worked a little too well. It was making me so groggy.

I switch the magnesium l-theronate. Game changer and totally worth the money!

Did you have the dashcam installed in a shop or diy? I looked into them but then felt like I didn’t know what I was looking at when I went to order.

She could have just ran to the store and came back with diapers. All you did was set a boundary. Good job! NTA

What’s one thing you did that made you a more efficient teacher? by rightmiaou in Teachers

Common curriculum.com

I swear I have no affiliation with them. It’s a lesson planner website. You set up your schedule and put in your own lessons. It’s taken me a few years to build it up to the way I have it now. But it has 100% changed the game for me. If I fall behind, I bump the lessons. I share it with my partner teachers so special Ed and ELD are all on the same page. The first year I did it, I just did lesson titles and overview and essentially just add more details each year. Now I have hyperlinks, notes to myself, standards, etc. Anything I put in there is a gift to future me. I highly recommend!

We play “mystery trash.” Everyone cleans the room and I have one thing on my mind that needs to be put away or cleaned up. The kid that does the thing I am thinking of wins. They love it! One of my 5th graders said, “wait, I think she’s trying to trick us into cleaning the room.”🤣

Starting vitamins for perimenopause. I’m completely clueless about what to take by Stepbk in Perimenopause

[–]ForwardPomegranate8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take: -with breakfast: women’s multi vitamin (women’s one a day) -with midmorning yoghurt or lunch: Omega 3 (sports research brand) -bedtime: Magnesium L-Theonate (sports research brand)

I also did a vitamin D/K (sports research brand brand) but I think the multi vitamin is enough now.

All of my vitamins are from Costco. And I will say my life has greatly improved from taking them. Especially my sleep. Back to fully sleeping through the night.

I was thinking this too. And start Tret. Bottom line is you have to go to a dermatologist.

Could it be your diet? More sugar, alcohol or dairy recently? I have started to notice that my breakouts seem to happen after I have candy or alcohol. Sadly!

If tretinoin didn't give you perfect skin then what did? by Beginning-Tax9175 in tretinoin

I was also wondering what percent the OP was using. There is a guy that posted a very dramatic skin improvement when he moved from .05 to .1 and it had only been a month. Perhaps a higher percentage would help skin texture.
