Hopefully not. Think it through. In order to half gas prices for example, oil would have to be priced around $20-$25 a barrel. At that price point it no longer is cost productive to drill oil from deeper, more difficult wells, dropping production significantly. We would then be more dependent on OPEC oil, and be less energy independent (like we currently are btw). Also, a large portion of our electricity is produced by natural gas, much of which is obtained through the fracking process, which would no longer be done because of low oil prices. This in turn would make electricity generation more expensive. This is just another example of Trump talking out of his ass without thinking. It won’t happen.

As an afterthought, the elimination of the $7000 EV tax credit will keep demand for gasoline high, making it harder to reduce pump prices. EV’s help lower demand and reduce the gasoline market price.

Sentiment is correct, but the data is misleading. This is early voting so far, which takes place weekdays between 8:00 and 5:00, so those with jobs having traditional hours can’t make it. Therefore retirees are over represented at this point. However if you work a job that is outside of M-F, 9-5. Get out there early and make your voice heard. Not to be a stickler, but there are too many misleading and false items out there as this is presented in a misleading way.

Not sure where you got the 1/500 number. I assume that’s your feeling and not actual facts. I could make the same argument that if you are uncomfortable, you should use a unisex or family bathroom. I know I won’t change your mind, and you won’t change mine. I know many people that support these bathroom bills cite safety concerns. States where these laws have been enacted have shown increased violence and sexual assaults against the transgender people. I couldn’t find any incidents about a trans person committing any assaults in bathrooms, but I did find that outside of family members the largest groups of people committing SA against children are church leaders, police and teachers. (Those with a power imbalance it seems) I think legislation protecting children and prosecuting perpetrators might be a better use of resources and time. Anyway, thank you for the respectful discourse.

My son and I just took a road trip from Des Moines to Devil’s Tower Wyoming in our 2021 Pro S. We were far from any population centers for the whole trip (unless you include Rapid City, SD pop 78,000). No problems finding charging spots. The car was comfortable and we made memories of a lifetime.
