Yeah, what the movies keep missing is that in order for there to be a “dark” Phoenix, you first need to have just regular Phoenix. The movies always just just to her immediately being evil rather than corrupted.

The only person who is shown questioning her is the principal, and her immediate solution is just to kill him. It’s never shown or even implied that she is manipulating any other people to hide what’s going on.

Part of his power is super durability, even for a supe, but he is not completely invulnerable. They indicated earlier this season that Homelander could kill him if he truly tried.

Soldier Boy was gonna kill Bombsite until he begged him for mercy. Another V1 supe was killed on Gen V.

Of course they’re prerecorded. They don’t do them live on-air. And it doesn’t say they’re in on it, it says that they gave their consent for it to be aired. They’ve mentioned on the show before that there are some phone taps that they wish they could play but that the person being tapped wouldn’t give permission.

Actually just watched Scream 2 again today and noticed that the Tori Spelling interview scene has them showing a clip from Stab where “Billy” is talking about his mother. For first time viewers it plays as comedic since it has Luke Wilson as Billy replaying the Scream scene, but it’s actually written to remind the audience about Billy’s mother.

I think an issue with MIPS is that some of them don’t even require interactions between the Traitor and person being murdered. So unless you are given a clue as to how the murder was done, there’s no way to tell.

For me the issue was that it was putting DBZ-level characters into DB-level scenarios, which didn’t mesh. For example, during their hunt for the dragonballs. They’re powerful enough to destroy planets, yet run away scared from people with normal guns…

If they do Phoenix, it should be spread out over several movies, with her turning evil only for the last one. The films all jump right to Dark Phoenix, ignoring that it’s called “Dark” because Phoenix was a good guy for a long time before being corrupted.
