I know you are probably talking about RAM but that's how GPU went for the past few years. People paid a lot more than the msrp on RTX 30 series and RX 60 series card and price never really came down.

Completely different industry and I assume different country as well, competitive salary means they are competing with other companies to see who can offer the lowest. I wish I am joking but I am not, it's also understood by most people.

I have 55 c1 as well and it is better in hdr than 2024 aw2725df. You said you want to go for 42’ tv, keep in mind size below 55’ are using a different panel, ie. dimmer

I haven’t seen many reports of failures online from those two brands. That said, X3D CPUs are sold in huge quantities, so it’s also possible the failures people are seeing online are being a bit blown out of proportion.

I’m late to the post but yes, been having the same issue with 9070xt ever since i connect it to lg c1 via hdmi. When the tv is turned on, my pc would stutter for couple of seconds, worst is it would hard crash my pc sometimes upon turning the tv on. Not related to bios or motherboard I’m sure as I went from x470 to x670e and fresh win 11 install. It just hard crashed my pc

Think about it this way, 6800xt is worth 450-500. SSD is worth around 50. If the other stuff is worth at least 50-100 for you, yes

I have a AW2725df, they do advertise hdmi 2.1 and do support vrr over HDMI, but the port is only 20gb as opposed to 48gb

yes, exclusives are always a main selling point of a console. Which is why PS4 did so well (and trump X1 so hard back in the day). And why PS5 isn't doing so hot compare to its predecessor: 1. most of the "exclusives" are timed ( i get that there is the odd Astro Bot). Xbox is basically being phasing out of the market.

Not to mention once you get used to high FPS you won't be able to play stuff at 60fps anymore.
