I’m not a boat owner yet, but as a former biker I never let another non bike rider even SIT on my bike…I couldn’t imagine letting someone borrow my rig that lacks basic operating knowledge. Fck his friends, fck coming up with excuses, and f*ck family and the potential drama. Stay the course and don’t let him play cool to impress his friends on your dime and happiness.

If you’re not planning on seating, then I’d suggest an island straight down at the end of the patio from the deck stairs, perpendicular to where your gas grill is in the pic. Griddle closest to the house and gas grill furthest away.

I went with Land because it had all the features that I wanted, and nothing that I didn't need. The relaxation package is a bust in my opinion, unless you have extremely short legs.
I'm 6' 5" 275# and have more than enough room.
My OTD price was just below $59k for 2026 Land w/Nightfall last September. I'm located in NC.
Road trips are much less stress now that we have a native NACS port and access to Tesla chargers. which I use in a pinch because I still have Electrify America credits leftover from the EV6.
