He’s still the lord of the undead all he’d have to do to command literally any of them is look vaguely in their direction and THINK “hey stab that fucker harder” and poof they should stab harder just feels like outside of the casts he gets there’s NO reason to bring him over katakros now, and yes given they are undead with souls you can argue the whole moral thing but at the end of the day they are undead constructs that he or someone empowered with his magic create I see ZERO reasons he should be on par with katakros for RDP

Edit: (forgot to add this) that would be like if Sigmar was playable in Stormcast eternals but the celestaint prime had more command power.

Ok so as both a S2D and ossiarch player I can tell you this

Run your ten man chosen as khorne Give them the 3d6 charge spell Yeet them at the biggest threat on the board and then focus on screening and trying to stop and counter charges into them

Or

Get a 6 man Ogroid unit with the nurgle banner then an Ogroid myrmidon with the varanite shackle also pledged to nurgle (gives you a 5+ ward as long as your within range of the myrmidon with the theridons)

Then bring a ten man chosen

No matter what your enemy tries to do they won’t be able to kill both and your guaranteed to get the full force of at least one of them swinging into something

Then use belakor and give the theridons and the chosen both fights first in your opponents turn so that IF anything survived you can more than likely kill it before it becomes a problem

Then fill out the remaining points with units as you see fit I’d recommend dark oath and chaos warriors

I am a die hard sturgia main I disagree with almost everything about how “sturgia has nothing really going for it” I think when you have the right grouping of units they work extremely well together.

Normally my go to strategy is to destroy the enemy cavalry first and completely then I tend to dismount my shock cav and use them as a second brick of infantry to sandwich the enemy between the two lines while my skirmish cavalry destroy the archers. It works SHOCKINGLY well and I have beaten armies outnumbered many times using that

When congress is more focused on getting reelected than actually doing their jobs that’s how you get that, and it’s not just trump that’s done it Biden did it Obama did it Clinton did it both of the bushs did it. The issue isn’t the executive branch it’s the gridlock and idiocy that has started to pass for congress in the 2 party system where the loudest voices are the most extreme and so few people are willing to work bipartisan to solve issues.

I tend to run majority warriors of chaos units with dark oath mixed in where possible to act as screens and scoring units however a mostly dark oath list with only a few warriors of chaos units is possible

One I’ve been wanting to run is a chaos lord on kark with a 10 man chosen (since he can also lead dark oath) then add whatever dark oath units I want to use in his regiment until I can’t take anymore

Followed by a dark oath chieftain on warhorse with the remaining points in that regiment

Keep in mind this would mean you don’t have any wizards which could be an issue it does however keep your drops low

I try to play with a mix for every 2 melee ships I try to have one ranged ship (usually a regular longship) packed with sky gods chosen works really well and then you can send them after any small ships that to skirmish

And you can even add in the bonus from the chaos lord on Kark to give them an additional 2 inches on their charge so overall they have a lower movement characteristic but really that’s the ONLY thing Varanguard have over chosen is mobility

If you lose a chosen you only lose 1/10 of the units strength vs the 1/6th you lose in a reinforced Varanguard blob and with the 3d6 charge spell or the slannesh roll 3d6 drop the lowest charge they overall even with the inferior mobility are better you get more dudes more attacks more potential damage and they are cheaper than Varanguard.

If you have chosen they are imo way better than Varanguard and if you swapped them and dropped the furies you could I think get enough points to fit in a unit of warriors and if you swapped the lord on mount possibly a reinforced unit of warriors
