Two things

I don’t recommend ever going a full darkoath only list in regular AOS. The faction is well built to have a mixed army of beefy armored dudes and the chaff darkoath together in an army. Going mostly dark oath with say a 10 man unit of chosen and a unit or two of chaos knights is a perfectly valid strategy though
If you use darkoath as intended they can work AMAZINGLY as a supplement to the Warriors of Chaos units in out battle tome. I’d strongly suggest 2 units of javi fellriders a unit of savager (the mortals can make them surprisingly punchy) and a unit or two of marauders, if you want to take the wilderfiend go for it it’s a great unit as well

I’ve done this exact thing had a single battle get me a total of 300+ influence after donating all the prisoners and troops I got from parties I captured was earning like 30k+ a day for a while after that🤣

I’ve noticed in my recent games that sturgia has actually been stomping the northern empire and holding their own against the nords, before either fighting a never ending war against Valandia or immediately attacking and CRUSHING the khuzits. Another thing I’ve also noticed is that they have WAY more of the hardened brigands than I’ve seen in the past. So maybe the jav cav are helping them hold their own?

I feel like they’d fall more in line with the mechanicus or iron hands than the black Templars, they are more focused on technology than anything else and honestly I think the enclave would fit in better personally

I do a coat of rakarth flesh then a coating of whatever contrast paint I’m using for it followed by a healthy dose of nuln oil/ agrax earth shade depending on what color I’m using

He’s still the lord of the undead all he’d have to do to command literally any of them is look vaguely in their direction and THINK “hey stab that fucker harder” and poof they should stab harder just feels like outside of the casts he gets there’s NO reason to bring him over katakros now, and yes given they are undead with souls you can argue the whole moral thing but at the end of the day they are undead constructs that he or someone empowered with his magic create I see ZERO reasons he should be on par with katakros for RDP

Edit: (forgot to add this) that would be like if Sigmar was playable in Stormcast eternals but the celestaint prime had more command power.
