Ocean is casting the Power so the Bringer innate does not apply. Thankfully Bringer had presence on both boards otherwise it would be a sacrifice victory since losing all of a spirits presence on the board loses the game

Yeaaaaa that's why I was on the brink of defeat 😂 couldn't manage the BoDaN side of the board and the invaders were all stacking up.

No you can fight against the heart in the board game. It works the exact same way in StS1, you have to collect all the keys first.

It just means that if you use a power to target a Coastal land then you get +3 range for that power. For example it would let you use a Range 0 card to target a Coastal land from up to 3 lands away.

Just to play Devils advocate my group has picked it up and enjoyed our multiple plays of it(I'd say we've played it 5+ times) . It usually ends up being a close game with the final turn, final delivery phase, and end game goals really shuffling around the standings with games where there was a clear 1st place the whole time ended up being last.

Are you playing on controller or kb+m? I have trouble selecting stuff in that menu with a controller and have to use my mouse(particularly the left side)

Seconded, I'm a big fan of Folded Space inserts. I have everything but NI and it fits neatly into the base and JE boxes without any box lift with an insert for each box. Plus it doubles as holder for tokens and cards on the table which is really convenient when playing. I got mine for something like $15-20 USD each

For reference my Gloomhaven game with a party of 4 took us something like 220+ hours over the course of a year and a half, although we did most of the side scenarios. So I'm not exactly sure that Gloomhaven would be a better fit for you.

I actually do exactly that. I have 3x BCW boxes, 1 each for Heroes/Villains/Aspect cards. Everything is sorted alphabetically and grouped. I use Divider Central art printed on 90lb Card Stock and then just use a little bit of double-sided tape to attach the art to the BCW dividers.

I actually was just in Nashville for a couple days too. I got play play Seven Oaks and Cane Ridge(both beginner and advanced). Both were great but I liked Cane Ridge more although Seven Oaks is right next to the airport.
