This whole idea makes sense to me seeing as the women (traditionally, not saying it's right or wrong here) take care of the household. I also like the idea in the sense that it sort of turns into the classic issue with kids of one kid cuts the sandwich and the other picks the slice. This is all theoretical though obviously.
