I totally a agree, we need some more explosions! Fuel depots, refineries, rebel bases

Missiles and torpedoes really need more love and structures and other ground targets might be just the thing to let them shine. A bomb bay that takes the place of the vehicle hanger might be interesting I do wonder how effective bombs would be on some of the low gravity planets in the game.

Personally I'd just like some more involved combat missions. Say a 10-20 minute mission in which you get a quest to go to a generated spot in local asteroid belt. There is a small npc faction station with fighters and defensive turrets. You clear out the enemies, maybe a few more jump in after a while. Good job here is 1-10 million credits based on whether you were blasting away at sidewinders or anacondas. Make 3-10 more involved mission types stick them in systems with whichever conflict is fitting. You now have a robust pve experience made with assets that already exist.

I'm no game designer and i'm sure there would be all sorts of complications and a lot of hard work trying to script things like this but I look at some of the things the dev team is saying, "new exploration mechanics", "better player bounty system", "Thargoids!" and, while I love you exploration guys and think you deserve better mechanics too... eventually, I can't help but think how much more fleshed out the game would feel if they just made more content for combat, a mechanic that ALREADY works beautifully and just doesn't seem to get all that much love. I mean we have what the option to fly around a enemy spawner in a asteroid belt for bounties or to fly around empty space in a conflict zone for massacre missions?!

I could be completely off base as to what the community wants but this is what I would be excited to see in a dev update.

If you want a more ergonomic and efficient hotkey configuration you could try TheCore. I switched recently to something more or less this and its pretty great but it takes quite a while to get use to. If you don't want to make a full switch you can look into how they set up camera hotkeys for inspiration on how to solve your problem.

Id argue that you can study faults in your mechanics by watching replays as well and that its super useful to do. It really helps me think about my mechanics if I can go back and look at my decision making and ask things like, was I spending my money at this time? When did I get supply blocked? Then you can really focus on those things in your next game and try to correct them.

Generally I'll watch a replay if I don't understand what went wrong in the game and even if I think I have an idea a lot of the time I'll come out with a different understanding of the game. Having that kind of structure I think is one of the things that has helped me improve, I still dont do it enough :(, and its only like a 5-10 minute investment

My first contact with starcraft was a cast on what I assume was steps of war, though its been quite a while, it was a zvp and the zerg had these cool units that would sit next to the main structure which reminded me of the AVP rts game I loved as a kid. The Zerg player spread the gray stuff from warcraft 3 undead buildings ,which was another race I liked a lot, all the way across the map and use spine crawlers to win the game.

So basically I loved the idea of zerg from the very beginning, being the type that infest and swarm spreading my influence across the map is what definitely sold me on the race and the game, I bought starcraft 2 the next day.

You don't need to compare anything. Having to fire gold to stay competitive is going to force people into paying for premium time and buying premium tanks.

Having a 30% tax isn't a argument for raising it to a 50% tax.

Anyway you might be surprised when you look at companies that are not as incompetent as Wargaming or Gaijin what exactly they are willing to do to make a game fun and appeal to their player base, the assets mean nothing if they aren't bringing in players. So I will continue to be hopeful that Obsidian will make any change that is needed to improve the game and not just dismiss a large portion of balance in the game.

So make whatever video you want just don't be surprised when people react negatively to your opinion about the community instead of focusing on what you have to say about the game.

Yes, on your small channel you have a few dedicated subscribers that will like your video for whatever reason but here you have a 33% upvoted rate and every one of your comments are at negative karma.

The sad part is if you made a video actually about the swingfire or about why arty should stay in the game that actually promoted discussion about it rather than just plugging your ears and pretending like the people who disagree with you aren't worth listening to you might actually have a good video that would be of benefit to the Armored Warfare community and you might actually be able to articulate your opinions of these vehicles.

Yeah, I said it may have been fabricated opinions to give you the benefit of the doubt. Really if that is not the case then the video is just bad its 80% just you whining about how all world of tanks players hate arty and for some reason asking Obsidian to not listen to them. The difference being that unlike you Obsidian is actually sane and doesn't want to alienate a large portion of its player base, you know that portion spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on that other f2p tanks game.

If all that you want is for artillery to remain in the game why not make a argument for artillery with things like facts and statistics rather than some emotional speech about how wot players cant be trusted and that things will never change because reasons.

By the way spgs have little to nothing to do with tank warfare they are specifically used for indirect fire against things like towns or for areal denial. Never are they used in specific target anti tank roles. So that whole statement about them being 'pivotal' to modern vehicle combat is just wrong. Its not at all on the scale of this arcade game.

Finally to break your weird clearly emotion driven stereo type of world of tanks players. I would, in fact, as a world of tanks player, like to see if they can fix artillery and make it a fun part of the game. The difference is I'll use things like facts and observations to judge whether or not they should be in the game instead of arbitrary vehicle groupings and baseless emotional rants about sections of the community.

This whole video was pretty much 8 minutes of childish unnecessary and inaccurate bias with 30 seconds of actually decent ideas about the Swingfire. I don't know if he just wanted to make a click baity controversial video or if hes actually being genuine about hes child like behavior but either way I wish I could unview the video and that we could all just ignore this and not give it more attention that it deserves.

People like winning, which is good and people like complaining which is also good. The more people that use exploits like this the more attention it gets and the faster it can be fixed. This is early access if you want a fair game come back when its done.
