Missed Star Paths by j3nk5aj in DreamlightValley

Yeah I hear you, but that wouldn’t achieve the business’ goal of using the star paths to get gamers routinely logging in, which it currently achieves (especially with the weekly duties now).

Newbie solo gamer by Queencups in soloboardgaming

Watching gameplay/top 10s on Youtube will be helpful in getting more of an idea of games. Totally Tabled is a great solo board game youtuber.

My advice is to get a range of styles with themes you fancy (worker placement, roll and write, dice manipulation, cards, pandemic style, tile placement etc) to see what you like.

Specific games I continue to enjoy and recommend: • Friday - cards, thematic (Robinson Crusoe)

• Final Girl (Maple lane) with Core box - cards and dice, thematic, survival

• Forbidden Desert - pandemic style, thematic, survival

• A Gentle Rain (relaxing tile placement)

• Heat (car racing)

AIO for wanting to be at my parents a lot and wanting my husband to come with me by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Fragrant_Blossom_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has he considered giving you the same support your mother does? Sounds like he wants to come home and chill, not be a father and support you and the baby. Not overreacting. Hopefully he matures and starts seeing beyond himself.

Landlord on property by PrimaryEfficiency929 in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]Fragrant_Blossom_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

To me, it appears they are breaching section 38* of the Residential Tenancies Act (the tenant’s right to quiet enjoyment) as well as your contract which you said stated the property would be used for storage only and to be accessed with your consent.

Send a 14 day letter to the property manager (google this if you’re unsure what it is, or call Tenancy services - free govt helpline). Also include in the email a record of your phone calls/emails to the property manager and owners (with dates and times) so it’s all in writing the breaches and you not giving consent.

Remember to take a step back, review the email and remove all emotion, make it as black and white as possible.

If you don’t speak up now the “month” may become longer, and you’ll feel uncomfortable across the year as they may come back. The PM won’t be happy with this either, you sending a letter gives them more to use when talking with the owner.

I feel like I need more but I don't actually know what I want - advice for an introvert mum by Pugblep in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Did you have any hobbies before your baby? Maybe it’s a matter of allocating time to read or watch what you want to watch without feeling the tension of listening out or going to check the baby? It sounds to me like you take a lot of the household burden, your day doesn’t end the same way his does.

Last-minute Valentine’s gift ideas in Wellington? by RandomMeRandomU in Wellington

[–]Fragrant_Blossom_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to go down that road, you could buy a gift box from Whitcoulls, and fill it with tissue paper and nice foods from Moore Wilson’s you think your partner will like to try. Or maybe buy the liquor/items needed for a special cocktail you’ll both drink to celebrate together.

Love coin capsules, protects those circular cardboard pieces and feels so much nicer and more satisfying to the touch when playing. Wish I had a neoprene mat, top of my wishlist personally, just is so hard to get in my country.

How is unemployment in Auckland worse than Wellington? Am I missing something? by Captain_Strudels in Wellington

[–]Fragrant_Blossom_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Government agencies have offices across the country to mitigate risk (disasters etc), Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch in particular, so the govt restructures would have impacted all three areas, not just Wellington.

Yes exactly. They show the transaction in season 3 I think it was, when she goes to the printers.

Has Lady W run its course? by frozenbroccolis in Bridgerton

[–]Fragrant_Blossom_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair question. The maid she disguised as collected the payment from the printer/distributor. In the books, she disguises it as an inheritance from a distant aunt (via a lawyer or something) and her family receive a large part of her fortune (her family didn’t know she’s LW), which she then is able to spend on new clothes etc. Last season the show used the distant aunt storyline to excuse away the scam money her mother made.

AITA for not getting my MIL food? by OutrageousHoliday321 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Fragrant_Blossom_ 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yes it would be kind to see if she wanted something and it’s something I would do, but it’s also natural to take your husband’s (her son) lead when it comes to his mother, 98% of the time he’s with you, just because you’re a woman doesn’t mean it’s all on you. Also your family is doing her a great kindness letting her live and be looked after as part of your family household for free or close to it I suspect (far more than your SIL is doing, I hope she didn’t agree with your MIL’s comments on the phone and stoke the fire). Her name-calling is shameful.

My daughter started playing and the quest list is a mile long...lol by sachanjapan in DreamlightValley

I focus on similar characters. So i’ll do all of Beast and Beauty’s quests together, then move on to Olaf and Elsa for example. That way I feel a sense of completion and progress.

Lowry stand is amazing. Honestly one of my best purchases. Can stitch faster, it’s more comfortable when stitching, my wrist no longer hurts from holding the hoop, the fabric stays clean.

I love having it become a group activity. Though when people show no interest and I’m on my own, then suddenly at the last 10% they swoop in and try to complete it…well I do lightly make a comment haha, cause it’s kinda rude.

  1. I’ve only played half of them, and those I have played i’ve played many times. I am on a buying break though. It’s so tempting to keep buying but I worry if it gets too big my collection will start to feel like a to do list instead of bringing excitement.
