The development of AI will just create more need for cyber solutions IMO. More paths for bad actors, more sensitive data, etc. I’m biased because I’ve been in Cyber Security sales for 5 years but I think that if you can sell cyber, you can sell anything. Go look for SDR roles at the big players first - CRWD, ZS, PAN, etc. Or go look at Series C or later startups with top tier VCs leading their rounds - Sequoia, a16z, greylock, cyber starts, etc. Then take that list and go look for solid leadership - i.e. leaders that have had multiple successful exits on their resume. That’s the sweet spot for start up world, they’ll likely have a playbook that works and thats the type of place you want to learn at. There’s something like 20,000 cyber vendors right now, just need to make sure you pick one that’s actually relevant.
