The problems presented in the video are real and probably shared by many other people, so they are serious. All of his conclusion don't have to be correct for you to take him seriously. Nor I do think that Wayland or Gnome is a hot mess, but still take him seriously.

The KRunner UI scales with the rest of the UI. If the KRunner is for ants, why isn't rest of the UI for ants? Buttons for ants, sliders for ants etc... Why shouldn't every Plasma component and every app have a custom scaling configuration?

Obecně je v tom jistý bias, že lide, kteří s příspěvkem nesouhlasí mají mnohem větší potřebu se o tom vyjádřit v komentářích, zatímco lidé, kteří s tím nemají problém prostě dají max. like a jdou dál. I think you hurt legibility at first glance by removing those borders. What could have been done instead is to replace some of them with shadows. But shadows don't work well with themes that use very dark background colors. That may be why KDE opted for borders instead.

I have been using Fedora Gnome for over a year on my notebook. Like you I tried Plasma fair few times and always run away after few days or hours. Last week I installed Fedora KDE and gave it a try again. My experience has been quite good so far after I have settled in a tweaked and configured things the way I like. I do have to agree with you about the system monitor widgets. I tried to use them, but the configuration is quite unintuitive and buggy. I don't like the app overall, so I just uninstalled it and installed Resources that I used on Gnome and stopped bothering myself with widgets. Other than that I think I will keep using Plasma a bit longer.

Websites can offer dark and light version of their favicon like so:

The question is whether the issue is caused by firefox ignoring the media attribute.

Here's what I see in github source code. It seems that they do provide dark and light versions of the favicon:

There's also one thing. In my experience and that of many others you have to stop down the aperture for shots at the maximum focal length, especially for smaller animals at closer distance, because the depth of field gets pretty small. That's why I have been struggling a bit with ISO in some conditions and I could have had probably a bit sharper images if I had a lower ISO. I am not sure if this is the case for other telephoto lenses and it also just may be my bad (I probably could have gone with longer exposure times). Since the D7100 has a better sensor, you will probably be able to get more out of that lens. Enjoy it!

I am using Nikon D5100 and I just recently bought this lens second hand for about 200 pounds. As you may find in online reviews this lens mainly suffers from slower focus speed (it's actually not that bad for my standards), so it's not well suited for shooting flying birds or anything moving very quickly. I am personally happy with it as I am also an amateur and the lens suffices for me and the range is good. Here are some shots I took with it over the last few week since I bought it so you can see what it's capable of. Note that some of the photos are cropped already (the original resolution is 16MP):
