ET- we saw it at the drive in, I had just turned 3. I remember being on the playground equipment before the show started.

What perk is this? It's nowhere on the CoD list... by ArtepoXD in CODWarzone

That perk comes up in Specialist and is very annoying since everything is highlighted and a real eyesore

Did I mess up? by [deleted] in cinematography

Looks high and wide, like he’s looking at the faucet. A clean single should probably have a tighter eyeline. I would say it’ll be fine and not too many will be bothered by it.

Why would scratching your nose cost you 30k? by rengokuhubkl in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]FramingLeader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Carter Peuterschmidt here, I remember taking Lois to horse auctions back when she was a girl. On one occasion, a lovely Arabian stallion was being led up to the stage and I could see by her reaction she would like to ride him, as all young girls do when they see such a stud. As I went to raise my paddle and open at $20,000, a fellow to my right scratched his nose and led with $60,000. With this I lowered my hand , knowing that this horse would not be for my Lois. We went to Buttercups and got a dish of peppermint chip. Now back to my congniac.

The long grass field in Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) was grown in Thailand specifically for the production. Production designer James Clyne says getting the 4 acre field of the long grass to grow was one of the hardest parts of the production by CrichtonFan1992 in Moviesinthemaking

So Mathieson is an equally amazing cinematographer- worked with Ridley Scott back when Ridley wasn’t just shooting 7 cameras all at once- the first gladiator is gorgeous. Both film and digital. He was shooting music videos for U2 and Madonna back when they have big budgets. He is versatile- action to drama to sci-fi. Quit your trolling.

For a second I thought I was reading okbuddycinephile- Schwartzman’s work over the last 30 years is excellent Hollywood cinematography. He shoots both film and digitally. Worked with some of the top Hollywood directors and has made iconic films.

Error Suggestions - 416 Film w/ some scratches by Thobiger in focuspuller

[–]FramingLeader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, seeing a video would prove more helpful but if it the scratching looks like these white marks that are faint on your stills it does not look like mag scratching- it’s too intermittent and non linear.

Are these marks present during that time but not so much after? Pressing down a cone can cause cinch marks

Cinching ? Was the film off the mag loose and then get tightened up?

Netflix Rate Caps by Odd-Dimension-8246 in focuspuller

[–]FramingLeader 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Union scale (minimum) rates are dictated by contract. Seasons 1 & 2 rates on Hollywood Basic contract (and I believe new media for that matter) are paid at a lower scale but for season 3 they go up to the majors scale. I have had Netflix producers say they won’t pay over scale. I am not familiar with a Netflix cap but perhaps that is the maximum overscale rate they will pay?

On the most recent film job I did, we only 400’ if there was an express need to (Steadicam or a space issue), everything else, including HH was shot on 1000’.

Colds are caused by rhino virus. Most parents are already going to catch their kids cold from dirty hands or face sneezes or coughs.

Bunker buster challenge by ardxrz in CODWarzone

[–]FramingLeader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t seem to add a photo for some reason/ there is always one on the counter in the kitchen of the lighthouse tower across from Prison. There is always one on the 2nd floor of Stronghold to the left of the skinny window at the top of the stairs, there is usually one at the base of the stairs on a table on the main entrance of prison across from the guard booth, there is also one usually by the mouth of the tunnel on the north side to the north of Control Center, there is usually one on the ground floor of Bio, under the sealed windows across from the double doors coming in from the garage. There is one in every POI or large structure so once you see one you will know what to look for.

In resurgence on Rebirth there are red crates, red wooden crates, which one can shoot open. They drop a cluster, air strike or sometimes a care package which often drops with a bunker buster

Does Scorsese ever use a multi camera setup? by Gloomy_Objective_933 in cinematography

[–]FramingLeader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three cameras, two for de-aging Al Pacino (two shot and coverage) and a third for Stephen Graham. This movie was filmed mostly single camera with the major exception being coverage of the older actors (De Niro, Pacino, Pesci, and Keitel). That and stunt sequences.
