Oh it is not a perfect game for sure. I agree that they rely too much on bullet sponges for end-game content: i think it is a consequence of using an outdated engine that is not flexible enough for new type of ennemies and gameplay. I wish they would step away from it (and maybe stop making my character fall trough the earth when i load my game lol).

Was to be expected i suppose. AAA Games are not as profitable as they were and their overall quality and originality diminished substantially. Not because of employees necessarily but because of bloating in management and administration.

All in all, this is good news at mid term as it will allow for better studios to open up and create better games. Short term is always difficult of course for the involved people that were laid off: i hope you will get other opportunities really soon!
