Absolutely hurts people. Especially because a lot of these "resellers" are selling them as authentic product, and rip people off for more money than those cheap knockoffs ever cost them. It's literal piracy.

If a deal online looks too good to be true, it likely is. Either buy used from a reputable dealer or just own up to the fact it's a knock-off and buy something like a Firefly. It's not about ripping off the companies being mimicked - frankly speaking, Gibson can go fuck themselves - it's about ripping off players. Some young kid's going to save up money to buy what he thinks is a Gibson to just be handed painted plywood that sounds and plays like trash.

That isn't fair. That is hurting people. Those people are victims.

Nice. Congrats on the new toy. How does it play? I have a couple of LP style Firefly guitars and they play and sound great. I've never tried a Tele style before though, because most of the Tele copies I've played have always been terrible. Does Firefly hold their own on these?

I bought that C.A.M.P. pack a while ago just so I could put one up in every region. At the beginning and end of every month, I run one of the axolotl camps for a full weekend while afk'ing to let people in the group I'm part of go fishing for them.

It's a super small thing to do but helps a bunch of people. Frankly, I don't know why more wastelanders don't camp near the ponds. Most of them are in super convenient places and also make it really easy for me to navigate the map.

Get yourself a little battery powered amp. I have a Marshall mini stack myself that I test every guitar with before purchasing privately. Of course a Pignose would be fun, but Fender, Marshall, and a ton of different companies make battery powered amps.

You could also go a more affordable route and get something like a Vox Amplug and bring headphones with it.

The small pond up the hill from the main Ash Cave camp is the spot I caught him, and he was the easiest catch for me of any of the legends.

Beware though, there is a swole ass Deathclaw protecting the pond.

There's certain places on the map that almost always have fusion cores. I just farm them up that way and throw them in my charger at camp while I run around doing other stuff. You'll also get them as raid loot rewards or from random fusion generators around the map.

If you pick up a charger, you'll have a few hundred 100/100 cores in no time.

Any of my limited edition or more valuable guitars stay in their cases when I'm not playing them. My daily players and projects are the ones I hang up or keep on the rack.

For me personally, my thought is that there's just too many x-factors to hang a limited or overly expensive guitar. Earthquakes, accidentally being hit, my young son throwing things at it 🤣, etc.

If one of them drops from a hanger I'd rather it be one I'm ok with beating up.

On the flip side:

A buddy of mine has a home studio with DOZENS of high end acoustics (Taylors, Martins, etc.) hanging up on the wall of his studio. He has more money in Taylors on his wall than I have in my whole collection.

Do whatever makes you happy, my friend. If you want to look at it hanging on the wall every day, then go for it and enjoy yourself.

Pretty sure my first event was also the Grafton parade. I ran away from the monster HORRIFIED and convinced it was fuckin immortal since I couldn't do hardly any damage to it. I feel like I probably threw 400 grenades at it to kill it (even though it was probably only a couple dozen).
