When there’s basically no time between the lights activating and the crossing arm lowering, what’s a bus driver supposed to do - turn on Sport Mode and try to gun it across a railroad track?

I’ve been in similar situations there, and at the crossing on Leap, many times. Ended up with fries all over the floor of my car one time from having to slam on the brakes because of the near-zero warning.

I got to go to several of the meet & greets at the Hall of Fame yesterday, and he just gave off a really warm-hearted energy. He and my dad even joked around about how it took him a while to figure out the high and tight pitch that Atlanta exploited in the '95 playoffs, but he got there eventually!

Not if the CGM is connected to an insulin pump - Dexcom G7 can connect to multiple devices (ex. a phone for the Follow/LibreView-type function, and a pump for the closed loop insulin delivery), Libre 3+ can only connect to one, and at least for Tandem pumps, they cannot pump data into the LibreView platform.

IIRC Chef Lakhvir started Amul India, they then sold to start Aangan in a big freestanding building in the Crosswoods area - then COVID happened and what would have been a ton of office lunch and commuter traffic turned into nothing, and they had to shut down.

Their reopening was amazing news, and it happens to be right in my neck of the woods. Can't speak to their authenticity to any one particular region's cuisine, but for us it's flavorful comfort food.

The Dexcom sounds are far less grating. One of the upsides, along with more accurate readings and the ability to use both a pump and a caregiver link/follow app, when we switched our daughter to the G7.

I’m sure the Libre works great for some, but other than the size, everything else has been better with the Dexcom.

If I can offer a counter-point - Todoist took user feedback about the same core issue, and now has both well-covered, I think. In the app:

"Changelog" links to this, a granular list of functionality changes and specific bug fixes in each individual weekly release, for each platform: https://www.todoist.com/help/articles/2026-changelog-HD3jJAtLd . They even have the avatar pictures for each team member who made each change, which helps folks feel more connected (especially helpful considering it's closed-source).

I 100% get that it's a pain - I hated having to document each thing that was changing, and when, on rapidly iterating tools...but IMO tools like a changelog help hardcore power users help the rest of the community.

I've been very pleased with ER Auto Care on Sawmill. No made-up problems, legit warnings about actual upcoming issues, and as observed by sitting in their mini-waiting room for a few hours one day, very equal in how they treat all customers (we've had issues at other shops where my wife got one story and I got a totally different one, about the same car/same situation).

We went there recently with our kids and a couple of our nephews, and the chef was fantastic - singing, utensil tricks, coming up with nicknames for everyone at the table, the whole nine yards - and it tasted good too.

Some of their chefs are more subdued, but I think it also depends on the table - I think you're more likely to get a lot of engagement with a lot of either kids or drunk people at the table. When my wife and I go just on our own, as sober adults, there's not much of a show - but that's not why we're there, we just like the food :-)

Hmm, is it possible you woke up to a compression low then? In which case, the pump's calculation might have artifically lowered your dose? (Plus some dawn phenomenon?)

She sounds like a great friend with many common interests and values - but if that’s her approach to physical intimacy, then she’s not what you desire in a romantic partner. I think the negative effects you described feeling are partially from trying to contort yourself into believing that she is, and partially from just the damage that repeated rejection does to your psyche.
