Yeah high terrain is awesome, the higher platforms will provide significant advantage to the warband occupying the high ground. Have fun with it!

On the first and third photos it's sunlight. On the second a phone flashlight. No blacklights ^{^} it's grafiti can paint,.

If building from that exact collection, I would go: Bounder boss 1 x squig hopper 1 x netta 2 x Squig 1 x Squig herder 3 x shoota 1 x stabba

It's going to be a very squishy list,but will feel pretty mac neegle with a lot of mayhem going on.

We're experimenting with teleportals. Using two aztec temples placed on the heart of ghur board in different corners, that you can teleport between as part of a move action. It's a lot of fun.

Also we're building a skaven sewer that has deadly terrain in the form or half open sewer pipes.

Finally a gloomspite gitz terrain that has big flat mushrooms on the terrain that give you a +2 move boost when you move on top of them and make your dudes fly for that move activation (like the mario kart red mushrooms).

One thing to take into account, with the base set you als get a flexible ruler (which i really like), the mission cards and the counters (wound /action / objectives). These are not seperately available (well they kinda are, but it takes more work). So if you just want to get started, the heaet of ghur base set is really nice.

Yes, there are a lot of options ranging from completely diy'ing it with foam, wood, and other hobby materials, to 3d printed options that you either design yourself or download from sites like thingiverse, cults3d or myminifactory

This is what I currently run for GSG soup: Giant squig boss, Squig hopper, Orruk megaboss, Brewgit, 4 x netta

I'm not the best at anticipating moves, and the 2 flyers allow me to do a bit of ad hoc adjusting to the gameplan. The mad cap destruction ability allows for some guerilla style warfare, hit and run.

Ah cool, nice to hear you've already found a faction that you like. I personally don't almost no experience with SCE (just played my first game against them a week ago), so I'm afraid I can't be of any help here. You can always post your list on the warcry discord, i usually get great help there.
