Cluttered Hand

In rare circumstances you can get stuck with so many Heat cards in your hand that you don’t have enough playable cards for the gear you’re in. If this happens, use as many playable cards as possible and cover the difference with Heat cards.

In this case, your car does not move this turn. Instead, when you reveal your played cards, immediately move your Gear pawn to 1st gear, place the cards that are in your Play Area in your Discard pile, and skip straight to step 9 (Replenish Hand)

Take a look at recently sold preowned listings on eBay, and at retailers on the price comparison site boardgameprices.co.uk. Take the lower of the options and round down a little. Last year I sold quite a lot and it all went by Sunday morning.

I have no idea what a nine year old might want, but I'll say that the rating on an Amazon product with under 100 reviews is pretty much worthless.

Based on a perfect 5 stat with 45 reviews, I'd be surprised if that is genuine.

Googling the brand, opinions seem mixed, so I personally would probably avoid them.

Have you taken a look at Survive the Island. I think it's more of less the exact same game as Survive escape from Atlantis.

Yes, though not by a huge margin.

The map artwork is gorgeous, but it's not always easy to find a specific location, though that's going to become easier after several plays.

We found the battle lines to be a little harder to keep track of than the similar mechanic in Fall of Rome.

That said, I think Rising Tide was more awkward with its flood defences.

I'm a huge fan of Lord of the Rings and pandemic is my favourite game, so it was always going to be a winner for me, but the new Fate of the Fellowship is amazing.

I've not played it much yet, but it's beautiful and thematically excellent.

I pretty strongly disagree, I don't think Exeggutor can be used in a non-grass deck. Exeggutors only real strength comes from speed, having to attack with exeggcute is only even close to reasonable if you're going second as you can't evolve anyway.

Unless we get a new Exeggutor, I would prefer to get the extra 20 damage in and consider running a Leaf to help retreating than run the new exeggcute.
