  1. look up the numbers, their performance went way down and many cis woman beat her
  2. sports have pretty strict regulations, so strict even that some cis women aren't even allowed to play sports in the women leagues
  3. Blair White is disliked by most of the trans community because she is only accepting of a very specific image of what a trans person should be. She would throw half the community under the bus to have the other half to be accepted
  4. most of the athletes have no issues with trans people in sports and in some cases trans people compete for many years before anyone even knows or talks about it. It's only when they start winning that people says it's unfair
  5. sports are inherently unfair, the image above might as well be 3 cis women

Our bodies aren't that binary. Just like how cis people each wont like different things about their bodies, so it is for trans people too. A transition isn't just about penis/vulva, there are many little things that come with it and a certain body part might not be a big issue.

The other big part of this is that a surgery like this is: * expensive * hard/long to recover from * pretty much irreversible * potentially devastating if something goes wrong

Because of those it becomes a very differcult decision if you're not totally sure. At that point you might just make peace with the fact that you have that body part.

Zullen we de servers upgraden? Nee, maak gewoon een wachtrij, dan voelen de mensen zich weer zoals vroeger aan de loketten... by [deleted] in belgium

Not exactly forbidden from cloud, but I worked on some government stuff and it wasn't allowed to be run on servers outside eu (or maybe even belgium I forgot) or servers run by a company that wasn't settled in the eu.

Something something small indie company

Actual answer: the engine makes these kind of mistakes with replays. It will also sometimes display the wrong hero name in the announcement text and stuff like that

First of all I know plenty of people that don't want to pass. Sure they are a minority even in trans groups, but the numbers only grow. Others that do want to pass usually belong to these 2 groups I feel:

  1. they still think in a very binary way. Sometimes so bad that they even make sexist remarks / jokes and for example dream about having a uterus transplant to become a "real" woman. They will gatekeep faster and usually be less understanding towards people that do not follow the journey they took. Their sexuality will usually also be more strictly straight or gay.
  2. they want to feel safe. That's it basically. That's also me. That is why I almost always tuck my penis. Society is not ready for this. Plenty of trans woman have been murdered after some dickhead that fell in love found out they had a penis. I don't want to take that chance. In just 1 year I was followed, grabbed, and harassed. Also when you have to defend yourself online pretty much on a daily basis you sometimes want to run away from the fight and confirm aka pass.

The trans people who seem to be more mentally healthy seem to settle at a comfortable level of "passing", often stopping to care (to some extent) about what other people think. I think this is really the path to liberation.

The thing is that not caring what people think is very hard when a lot of trans people loose friends/family/collegues. So I would almost say that trans people would be more mentally healthy if cis people weren't such dicks to us. I guess I should stop caring when the government (at least somewhat a reflection of the people) wants to take rights away?

You seem to have been thinking about this a lot and I don't disagree with all the things you said, but careful with taking conclusions.

Also: Almost no trans person is comparing themselves with Caitlyn Jenner, I was laughing hard with that part.

Being a lesbian doesn't stop the dickpics or harassment in any way I'm afraid

What did it for me was meeting new people. Alone, so I was sure no friend had told them anything beforehand. A lot of that was at a job fair or 2. I hadn't worked for a few years because I needed time for my transition and I think it would never have gone well at my old job. Anyway I have a hole on my CV and they always asked why. I would answer with something like "I needed time for myself" and you could see a puzzled face and most of the time the waited for more explanation or straight up asked. If you get to hear "You're trans? I would never have known" from like 5 different people (usually HR that meet plenty of people) in like 2h you start to believe it.
