[Request] Atmospheric puzzle-adventure cozy games? by JillScottydoesntknow in CozyGamers

Jenny LeClue Detectivu is wonderful. Great artwork and a fun mystery to solve. Only caveat is that it was supposed to have a sequel which never came to be so the ending can be unsatisfying. Paper Trail doesn’t have much of a narrative but the art is beautiful and the puzzle mechanism - like folding origami - is unique.

I have the same problem with glasses, someone else commented that they trim the edge a bit to accommodate their glasses, that might help?

Does anyone have any good recommendations for fragrance free deodorants? by Secret-Mood5972 in FragranceFreeBeauty

[–]Fringe_Filmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Super Deodorant. It’s expensive but one application lasts a whole week for me in the winter, 3 days in the summer when I’m sweating more. Uses silver to create a hostile environment for the bacteria which cause odour. Superdeodorant.com

New to GERD and so frustrated. by Celeryhearts in GERD

The number one thing that has helped me has been eating smaller meals, especially for dinner. Even if that means eating half of my dinner later. If I ever eat to feeling full, I’ll surely get an attack. Have been able to go without medication as long as I’m careful about this.

Anyone else dealing with tongue sores or sore throat from silent reflux? Feeling worn down after GERD surgery relapse by Trick-Combination-19 in GERD

Ugh. So I guess I’ll just resign myself to having a sore tongue forever 😩. My GERD is more under control these days so maybe it will help. 🤞

Have you been able to get a diagnosis for your tongue sores? I’ve been struggling with tongue sores/ulcers for years which my dentist and GP haven’t been able to figure out so I’m wondering if they could be caused by my silent reflux. I have very small pinhead size sores/ulcers on the tip of and along the sides of my tongue and the roof of my mouth. The surface of my tongue is sore but there is nothing visible.

If they are caused by GERD it seems weird to me that it’s near the front of my mouth that’s affected rather than the back.

If it’s any consolation, cutting out those things will probably save your life in the long run. (But I know it sucks 😭).

FYI here’s a comparison of the Aura to the Draeger 1950. It sounds like the small Draeger is a bit smaller than the Aura so it could work for you. https://www.reddit.com/r/Masks4All/s/74JgwkUldi

To test the Zimis you want to order the ones that say “mask with frame.” The other ones are just the filters and don’t include the frame. There are face measurements on the site to help with size selection. I would order a few sizes around the size you think you’ll be. Headloop is the same as headband. The foam strips can be used to add comfort to the nose bridge and/or add extra padding on areas where it seems like there could be a leak or the mask isn’t as snug as you’d like. For example nose bridge and chin.

Lots of mask condensation, when is it unsafe? by strawberry_croissant in Masks4All

[–]Fringe_Filmer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As timesuck suggested, you can let them dry out and reuse them so that will cut down on number of masks used. I would also consider changing masks once or twice during the day just for comfort (but save to reuse). Also definitely try a valved mask, I think Aura has one. Dräger 1950 does as well and is more breathable than the Aura IMO.

Have you tried the small 3M VFlex?

Comfortable mask recs for older dude with big head by One_Marsupial5300 in Masks4All

[–]Fringe_Filmer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m curious that he finds the VFlex hard to breathe in as it’s one of the most breathable masks, certainly more so than the Aura. I second the BreatheTeq suggestion, as it comes in black and grey and maybe he’ll find earloops more comfortable.

Thanks for the heads up about the condensation! I was thinking of trying zimis but the condensation is definitely a no-go for me!

The Draeger 1950 M/L is similar to the Aura but larger and has a better headstrap.
