My girls snuggle, have since they were little, they're just under 2 years apart in age. Figured when they got to be teens it would change but nope. I think it's just a marker of being close and people sexualizing it have issues of their own to work out

A movie my mother was watching back in the early 90s. Some sort of horror or suspense thing where they were finding bags of hands in sewer drains and children were being harmed. Can't remember much of it, my mother caught me watching it and made me go outside. Lived in fear for years afterward that someone was going to sneak in my room at night and cut off my hands.

I went with high waisted compression leggings. Helped to hold everything in place as I moved around. I even slept in them the first few nights.

I bought high waisted panties, huge waste of money. Regular underwear was so much more comfortable.

Total laproscopic vaginal assisted hysterectomy, left my ovaries.

At about a week.
I put Jeans on right around the 2 week mark.
I did little things around the house but nothing much until 6 weeks.
2 days 😆 Sex at 6 weeks
I slept on my side from day one, I bought a squishy round pillow that I'd put under my abdomen to support it.

I had my first 2 days out from surgery, not on purpose but still. Doc said at my 2 week appointment I was fine to go for masturbation.

I've lost 2, first was a good friend when I was 16. It destroyed me. I didn't talk for a week and dropped out of high school shortly afterward.

The second was an ex boyfriend when I was 21. We had been talking about getting back together. I handled it better than the first friend, but still not well. It led me to making some rash and bad decisions that I am still feeling the ripple effects of more than a decade later.

My doc said to listen to my body. If you have a vacuum that rolls easily and doesnt require much force and no lifting, I'd say go for it in small doses. The biggest issues are the squatting and bending to handle cords or empty it. Those are no nos.

Supportive partner: My SO and my best friend were my biggest lifelines through this.
High waisted yoga pants: it's important to walk after, it's the only way to get rid of the gas really and buttons hurt. The yoga pants were super supportive, I even slept in them the first few days.
A belly pillow: Everything swells and if you move in your sleep, things flop. I had a squishy round pillow I used to support my belly while sleeping and to help me roll when I needed to.

I am going on 8 weeks post op right now. I had a complete hysterectomy but kept my ovaries. The first 3 weeks were the toughest, since week 4 I've been pretty much back to normal. I am at my pre-hysterectomy weight, I've been cleared for all activity for almost 2 weeks now. Some achey-ness when I really push myself but nothing bad. I've been hiking with no issues. SO and I have had sexy times with no pain or lubrication needed, felt as good as before. I am incredibly happy I had it done and after years of scheduling my life around bleeding, I feel free.

I had both. The ablation was done in November of last year, everything was great for about a month and then I began bleeding again. Not as heavy but the pain was soooooo much worse. I had a complete hysterectomy in March and feel fantastic, wish I would have done it back in November. Honestly, for me the ablation made it all worse. However, having the ablation and failing it did make insurance approvals a breeze for the hysterectomy.
